Zeke313ParticipantShould be an interesting matchup. Cousins got a few easy baskets early on but looking a bit sloppy. Same for Monroe but it looks like hes thinking too much out there.

aamir543ParticipantI hope they light each other up, I have both of them on my Fantasy Team, lol.

Zeke313ParticipantIsaiah Thomas is a nice talent but with his height disadvantage hes a liability on defense. Stuckey scored 16 in him in the first nuff said.

Zeke313ParticipantYeah but iin his defense he wasnt featured as much as id hope he would be. In other news Brandon has 21 pts and career high 10 assists.

BasketBalAllanParticipantIts a shame jimmer and thornton played such awful individual and help defense because Cousins was on a mission to continue his great play. 70+points from your backcourt…

Zeke313ParticipantThrow in a wopping 0 turnovers with those ten assists, Brandon is developing nicely with a few roster changes in the offseason and a new addition in the draft I look forward to the Pistons making some noise next year. As for now can someone tell the Pistons to stop winning games before we completely sqaunder our draft position? All Im asking for is a top 5 pick

Jlv2012Cousins > Monroe

Zeke313ParticipantThe sooner Monroe calls for the ball consistently the sooner he can average 20+ a game and the Pistons can get on with their lives. I’m sick of seeing him give up the few touches he gets to feed Tayshaun and his old man isolations, or Maxiell when he’s in better position to score himself and when he isn’t I’d still like to see him shoot or try to create for a teammate.

BasketBalAllanParticipantHow fun would it be to see a front court of Cousins and Monroe?

Zeke313ParticipantYeah but on what team lol

scbe2223ParticipantDidn’t see the game but after looking at the box, BK’s statline was pretty impressive. He needs to shoot a higher percentage but that assist/turnover ratio was killer. Also, how did Stuckey have 0 assists? Is he not bringing the ball up at all?

Zeke313ParticipantUncharacteristic night for him he’s been distributing well lately. As for Brandon he needs to work on his mid-range pull up, coming into the league I thought that was going to be a weapon for him but when he comes off the dribble his release is all over the place if he gets that down his offense should improve further.

BasketBalAllanParticipantI was really pulling for the Kings to grab BKnight on draft day and whenever I see him play it reminds me how much better off the Kings would be with someone who can play and defend the pg position. I think that given time Jimmer will improve and be good for the Kings, but given the same time Knight would have fit better.

FastAndFuriousParticipantTold yall in the other thread, Cousins is a head case, but he is better than Monroe.

Mr. 19134ParticipantLOL @Youngdave I wanted to pull the I told you so card too when I saw this. Cousins manhandled Monrow which isn’t saying nothing against Monroe because he’s been manhandling opponents for like a month now. He’s been playing really good he needs to start getting some respect.

BiggysmallsParticipantwow, I said in the topic earlier in the week that I would take Monroe over Cousins. I may have made a mistake. I didnt watch the game but Cousins must have dominated the matchup according to the box score.
I will go back on what I said to a point, the difference between the two is less than I thought, and its much closer than the box score would indicate tonight as well. I still like Monroe alot as a player and I think he can be a Pau Gasol type of player in his prime, but if Cousins grows up (which is quite an IF still) he could be a darn good player as well, as evidenced by his play this season.
