I really don’t think the Cavs will select a guard with their 2nd pick. I really think they will select a Center even if that means reaching for one. You have to remember Cleveland is still rebuilding their team. Center is one of the most important positions in the NBA. In football, the highest paid player on any team is usually the Quarterback, and that’s no surprise but what is a surprise is who is usually paid the 2nd most, is the Left Tackle. He protects the Quarterback’s blindside. In basketball its the same way, the Center is comparable to the left tackle. So is the Cavs want to build their team right, then they need to get a Center soon even if he is a reach.

I also don’t think Nicholson slips to 27th. He has impressed a lot of teams in workouts, mostly with his outside shooting. But he also can play some defense and is a smart player. Scouts are comparing him to David West, and saying he will go anywhere from 14-22.
