ProudGrandpaParticipantAnd five months ahead of schedule if you go by last year’s results! Just messing withy you, Aran, thanks for getting the results posted. Some observations:
1) I’m not buying this guy who won’s mock. He destroyed the competition by a ridiculous amount and supposedly nailed the first 19 picks. And the 20th pick, instead of having someone like Ennis or Capela or Hood like the rest of us, he had Cristiano Felicio, another Brazilian obscure prospect like Caboclo. I know if I found a way to game the system, I wouldn’t push my luck to getting Caboclo either as that would just give it all away. But c’mon. Gordon at 4? Stauskas at 8? McDermott at 11? Payne at 14? Vonleh and Harris dropping? I don’t see all that happening in one mock in any universe. But hey, the guy did get ninth last year so if this guy’s mock really is legit, I apologize and congrats to DefenseWInsChamps for being a mock genius.
2) Congrats to forum legend MikeyVTheDon for his second place finish. Highlights from his mock include 8 correct lottery picks and nailing Damien Inglis at 31.
3) Other well-known users that did well include Wreckless, r377, drk3351, Taylor Condrin, JoeWolf1, and dmo21 (and myself), all of whom finished in the top 20 (if you go by ties and ignore whatever whacky-ass tiebreaker the site uses.)
4) Congrats to all-time forum points leader McDunkin for submitting his first mock since 2011 and finishing in the top 100 again.
5) I believe that Aran got 100 points, which would put him in 20th as well. Respectable. No lost credibility there. (although the DraftExpress mock did kick butt and would’ve beat every single user on here, I believe, aside from Mr. Ridiculous Mock)
Anyways, great contest and I’ll break the top 10 next year if it’s the last thing I do

got too carried away with what I’d like to see happen, rather than what actually was going to. And starting too early never helps, cause you get wedded to some of your picks.

treytalkssports.comParticipantMy mock shouldn’t count. I had my mock draft pulled up on a tab part 2/3 of the way through the first round and was arranging the picks as I went so I could see who was left. I assumed that my Mock was saved and could not be resaved after the draft started.
I wish I could say I was that good, but Caboclo to the Raptors? I never even heard of the guy.
After I saw that the new Mock was entered, I figured I would automatically be disqualified because the time it was saved was obviously after draft started.
Ninth last year was legit! First this year was not. I don’t want to tarnish my record as a cheater. Get me off the leader board, Aran!
