Over the past few years I have come to realise how absurd some of these mock drafts are. Yes, it is only a mock and 30 days is a long time til the draft in terms of stocks rising and dropping, however, this is just crazy/

Do they even watch college basketball? Or follow these prospects?

Drummond 10? Come on. If anything his stock will improve massively after the combine results. 

Ross 25? That is just absurd.  His stock is on the rise and will go late lottery. 

Moultie doesn;t go past 18. No way.

Sully is no longer hyped to go mid lottery.

Sullinger is too high. I’d take PJ3 ahead of him 

Zeller is a better fit for Milwaukee going forward. Bucks need inside scoring and he can provide it. His lack of defense can be filled upon by Larry Sanders

NOH getting Davis #1 and Drummond #10. That’s the best dream a GM can have, better than a wet dream. Still impossible though

 I don’t see why they would have MN draft a SF, even though Terrance Jones is a beast. But that pick is gonna be a strong asset and hopefully MN packages it  for a veteran SG. But if they keep it, hopefully Rivers or Ross drops to them.

No way in hell Drummond falls to 10. If his there at 6 the Blazers are scooping him up for sure. Center position is a huge need for them after letting Camby go.

This is just some guy who writes because he has a degree and is a good wordsman. Most of you guys on here are way more knowledgeable of the game, both high school and college, than this guy will ever be. Who cares what he thinks, he has zero input on any draft decisions, anyway.

this guy clearly just watched some ncaa games on a Applebees’ flat screen, and made his mock from that. There is no effing way Drummond would slip by the Kings, Blazers, Cavs, Warriors and PISTONS. Holy crap, the Pistons would kill to draft Drummond, just because of his defense.

And in his mock he admits that the Warriors already have a rebounding power forward, but then they’ll just draft Sullinger anyways…. Why would they do that? Sully doesn’t fit a need, and has low upside compared to everyone else.

I have a hard time seeing Leonard going before Moultrie. Leonard is a great prospect, but Moultrie is just more skilled and has a similar defensive game at the moment.

Everyone agrees this mock is garbage, but I just wanted to pile on.

About 75% of these mock drafts have totally dubious selections that duplicate talent on some teams rosters. 

Prime example here: Minnesota taking Terrance Jones when they took the exact same type of player (3/4 tweener) with the 2nd pick last year (DWill). 

What kind of ignorance is that?  Serious lack of research.

Minnesota needs a SG badly so any position would be a mistake. I love Wayne Ellingtons game and played with him in a summer league when he was a freshmen in high school and knew he would be in the NBA…however he is a good role player coming off the bench not a starting caliber player on a winning team…as for Wes Johnson he has been a dissapointment to say the least.

This site has them taking Waiters but I doubt he will still be around….Doron Lamb reminds me very much of Ellington so I would pass on him as well even though I obviously like his game as well. I think there best bet would be drafting the best shooter in the draft in John Jenkins even though it would be a reach. They need outside shooting at the 2 spot with Rubio having a shaky outside game at best.

 Funny that the NBA website has NOH getting the two ploayers with franchise changing potential in unrealistic fashion. Drummond falls no lower than the Cavs at 4 IMO. 

Thomas Robinson at 2 to the Bobcats because they need athleticism and toughness inside but yet they just spent a top 10 pick on athletic inside player Bismack Biyombo? WHoever questioned this sites credentials as actuall witnesses to basketball this past season I give you a +1. Ridiculous mock.

 BTW, can has anyone heard anything about a promide to Nicholson by Boston in the first? I’ve noticed that almost every single website has him going to them with one of their first rounders. Personally if I was them, I’d go D.Lamb and Melo if both are available and noone better at the 2 or 5 are available. Nicholson isn’t needed IMO since they just drafted JJJ and still have Bass.

I like Sully, his stock has fallen but some lucky team picking 15-20 will get him. And why do all the mocks I’m looking at have Sully going to my dubs? You don’t pick a big man at 7 when you have David Lee who’s coming off a 20 and 10 season, I know there are injury concerns for Bogut but still. PJ3 is a guy I really like, I feel like the talent is worth the risk. Another guy I like is Terrence Jones. He may not a be an All-Star, but he’s gonna be a solid NBA player, he attacks the rim hard and is an underated defender.

 I think Sully just is going to look like too much value to go past the seventh pick. Yes he is a below the rim PF. But he is so productive he might be as good as David Lee from day one. Also he can probably play some Center if Bogut goes down or is unable to regain his form. 

I’d be shocked if Drummond is still availble at number 10. I just don’t think NBA teams can pass on that much hype that long. 

But man this draft looks deep doesn’t it? There are plenty of ballers who don’t make the first 30.
