jmarg25ParticipantThat would be crazy if Paul George won MIP again. That’s how damn high his ceiling is.

Chilbert arenasParticipantBased off opportunity it should be either Favors or Kanter, or if Hayward has an all-star type season.

CynthiaParticipantI’m looking at Bledsoe for MIP so far. But Wroten has had the best overall stat jump.

JoeWolf1Kanter was my pre-season pick and he’s not disappointing. Sophomores generally don’t get the nod at MIP, but if Anthony Davis continues even a slightly settled down version of his production through his first few games, he might have made too big of strides to ignore for the award.

HitsterParticipantCan a player win MIP twice ? Is there any rule about it does anyone know? I’d figure in theory it could happen but in practice it would not as by the 2nd time the player in question would be at All Star/ All NBA Team Level.
I tipped Evan Turner last year, so I’ll stick with him for this year. I wonder if one of the younger Orlando guys could have a break out year statistically and be a dark horse. K-Love won in 2011 so I would not rule out a more high profile player like Anthony Davis.
Xavier Henry would be an unsung choice and he will see playing time but his chances will probably depend on when Kobe returns.
Harrison Barnes promised a breakout year but with him being out at the moment I’d want to see him playing again first.
A complete wildcard could be Miles Plumlee if he retains his current form as his would probably be the biggest statistical percentage increase.
