After the first couple games Dorrell Wright, and Hakim Warrikk (once they start him ove Jerkuglu) are my frontrunners.

RUDEBOY_Participantyeah, hibbert will be in the running..but he has to increase his rebounding numbers to at least 9 a game..

CodySLCParticipantI still think C.J. Miles has a good chance to win it. He’s averaged 20ppg, and shot 8 of 11 from three in his last two games, in only half a game. They need his scoring off the bench right now, but could be the starting 2 by years end. Memo will play the bench scorer 6th man role when he comes back. Also Knock on wood, but Bell has play all of 76 games in the last 4 seasons before this one.

JNixonParticipantElton Brand is more of a Comeback Player of the Year candidate than Most Improved. And he probably won’t even win that.
I think J.J. Hickson will get Most Improved.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantMike Conley for me. I’m guessing he is trying to prove to everyone he deserves that contract extension.

Mr. 19134ParticipantFinally some sweet Lou love, and why do I feel like Hickson will win it out of empathy for Cleveland?
Here are the top 10:
1. Dorrell Wright
2. Mike Conley
3. Paul Millsap
4. JJ Hickson
5. Aaron Affalo
6. Lou Williams
7. Bargnani
8. Roy Hibbert
9. Ray Felton
10. Kevin Love (his numbers aren’t going to go up as much as some of the players on this list who are going to double their output.)

stanford hoopsdoubt Anthony Randolph has a chance
same with lou williams. didnt he put up close to 14ppg last year and now hes putting up 18ppg..not a big enough jump..i dont think some peopel are understanding what it takes to win the most improve. the jump has to be bigger then you’re competition. guys who get it are usually under double figures scoring the year before then make a jump to something like 17ppg

Mr. 19134ParticipantIt also depends under the circumstances you make that leap. Like Lou don;t have a chance cuz the Sixers are a trainwreck.
But if the Sixers were to sneak in the playoffs and Lou was a 6th man of the year candidate he would have a shot. If Lou could average 20 points a game if he played better defense. He’ll never get them minutes because his defense isn’t good all the time. But he is a big time scorer and should also be a 6th man of the year candidate.
Bargnani I think got a great shot at winning it. I told people he would average around 24 a game this year with Bosh gone…Now only if he knew how to rebound. What 7 footers averages more 3 pointers made then rebounds a game? BARGS!!!!!! THATS AN INSANE STAT
