GlenTaylorSucksParticipantFriggin’ A, Kahn. Friggin’ A. This had better not be true. I like Johnson, but there are like 5000 quality wing players in this draft, and Cousins is the only potential game-changing center, and they’re passing on him? They’d better trade for a damn good center, or at least have a trade worked out so they can get Evan Turner.

rickyD510Participantkings just worked him out.. guess were getting him

dwill4mvp94ParticipantYeah David Kahn doesnt know what he is doing passing on a potential powerhouse, DeMarcus Cousins averaged 15 points, nearly 10 rebounds and a block only in 23 minutes a game at kentucky, and you have the number 16 and 23 pick, so you could get a wing player like paul george in this deep draft class

Manny_3187ParticipantI really hope this isn’t true. If the Wolves really like Johnson they should at least draft Cousins and use him as trade bait whether it’s to move up to #2 or move down to #6 or #7. Wolves have too many picks they better not screw this up.

nateoak10ParticipantHe worked out with Favors…. You guys also worked Monroe out alone, maybe you guys like Monroe better since you guys wanted a closer look at him?

burningfloodParticipantI hope the Kings like Monroe better…then Cousins would fall to the Warriors!

KahnJr.ParticipantThis rumor has to be false and here’s why…
1) Kahn likes evan turner too much to give up on pursuing him, he’ll get him even at a large cost!
2) Rambis likes corey brewer, why would we get corey brewer 2.0 especially since he has no trade value?
3) Too many wings in the draft to pass on cousins.0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/13/2010 - 10:09pm #331933
frijole ghostParticipantgolden state or detroit or another team will make a deal w/ minny

lalailaParticipantyeah first of all Detroit wants him so they probably would try to get it..and other thing is that they just will ask Sixers what’s their opinion about Cousins after the workout and if they will be high on him wolves probably will draft Cous’ without any workouts and will try to get Turner.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantIf Steffanski doesn’t rape this guy on draft day I’ll be suprised…The deal will be Turner for the 4th/16th/23rd and Wayne Ellington…maybe he lets them keep the 23rd or Wayne…Maybe he goes for the Jugular…and tries to dump Brand…(Do Not Try To Dump Brand….HE IS A DEAL BREAKER) 3 first rounders for Turner…

piratejpParticipantTo me, this signals they are probably moving up to 2 to get Turner – kind of doubt it will cost all 3 first rounders and Ellington to do it though. Picks 4 and 16 should do the trick.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantThey need Turner….It’s Turner or Bust….Kaun will be on the chopping block if they take Wes Johnson…because Wes will not be a 20ppg guy and will make the past two drafts look really bad…Turner is their franchise guy…They want the Turner/Rubio/Love big 3 to take Minny to the playoffs…The Sixers do need to fill a few holes(shooter and Center to replace Dalembert…) The 16th doesn’t garantee them a shooter like Henry or George and it’s not worth trading Turner for Cousin’s and Anderson…Babbit wouldn’t be there either…There Targets have to be Cousins, Henry, George and Babbit…If the Wolves want a franchise player they have to bend over and take one for the team….The Sixers could give away Sammy to the Wolves…He’ll fill the center spot for 1 year and then provide them more cap relief next year…The 23rd shouldn’t be the thing that Keeps them from getting Turner…You’d turn down Turner for the 23rd pick…when you still have 2 second rounders…and the cap space minus taking on a Sammy type in a salary dump by the Sixers…
