This may sound crazy, but I honestly feel the Bucks have a legit shot to make the playoffs…Their team has enough offensive talent, defensive players, and star talent in Jabari Parker to propel themselves over teams like the Nets and Pacers to secure 8th seed in the playoffs…Lionel Hollins is a real good coach, but I feel Brook Lopez will never stay healthy, they’ll get a little bit out of KG, and Deron Williams is bound to get hurt again, so I don’t see them making the playoffs

It would take a lot of things to go right, mainly:

    1. OJ Mayo having a resurgence

    2. Jabari playing like he has the past 2 or 3 pre-season games.

    3. Giannis playing the way he has the last 2 pre-season games.

    4. Larry Sanders keeping his head on straight for the most part and returning to 2012 form.

    5. Ersan Ilyasova playing more like he did the two years before last year.

    6. Brandon Knight allowing the offense to flow instead of jacking long 2’s.

But man, last night was just incredible to watch.  With Jabari and Giannis on the floor, this team can run for days.  Those two looked completely unstoppable once they got their hands on rebounds.  They just flew down the court with wreckless abandon and either scored or drew fouls.  And OJ had the best game I’ve ever seen from him lol.  He literally could do no wrong.  Behind the back passes, no look passes, making damn near every shot he took even when contested… I haven’t had that much fun watching a Bucks game since Ray Allen was on the team, and this was a PRE-SEASON game lol.

But yeah, I don’t think it’s completely outside the realm of possibility that everything could work out and they could be in the playoff hunt.

its funny that you had the pistons rated number 7 ahead of the bucks..but when u remembered that you had left the raptors off your list….you drop the pistons off your list ….but you had rated them higher then milwaukee….

I feel the Bucks will have better chemistry than the Pistons, because Josh Smith is just a CANCER, Brandon Jennings is very erratic, and idk how long Monroe will cope with coming off the bench

Prepare to get negged (which I know doesn’t bother you).  Anyone who makes the obvious observation that JOsh Smith is a cancer gets negged.  I just assume they haven’t watched him play very much or read any of the Detroit papers.

Oj did look good last night from the three. They have guys that can play 4 postions and guard each postion. They really have a solid lineup for each team they face, rather they go big or small.

I’d put Atlanta ahead of the Bucks, Pitons and maybe the Knicks if a healthy Horford comes back in the mix.
I do like the direction of the Bucks though lots of promise. Would be good to see them get one more high pick and grab Mudiay at the point.

Yeah, I think the Hawks are being slept on too.  And it would be nice if the Bucks got someone like Mudiay, but at the same time, if they make the playoffs this year, it’s probably because the young core is better than expected, so that would be good too.

Especially not the 3rd best team.  With Bradley Beal injured and Trevor Ariza gone, I don’t see where they find the knock down shooters or the defensive guys on the wings.  I also don’t trust Nene to have 2 consecutive seasons where he’s healthy or dominates like he did last playoffs.  Gortat is iffy to me too after getting a new contract.  I think Wall have to carry more on his shoulder now and I’m not sure his jumper is good enough to do that.    A few guys have to step up, Rice and Porter…  Especially Porter since he was drafted so damn high….

i can’t say that is unreasonable.  i actually really like this team.  they have a nice, young foundation with henson, parker, middleton, giannis and knight and they have a lot of guys that can turn the corner from an inconsistent year (sanders, ilyasova, mayo).  throw in specialist like bayless (scoring), zaza (servicable big), dudley (hard worker) and marshall/wolters (ball security, passing) and on paper (or in nba2k15); this team looks pretty decent.

But they may the season after this.  They have super nice young talent on the team and their vets are better than people think.  Jared Dudley has been shooting lights out these past few games and looks like he could rebound from his off-season last year.  The Bucks really fleeced LAC in that trade, getting first round pick and a very good veteran player with great versatility for two players who will likely never play any significant minutes in the NBA again.  Plus, they actually dumped salary during the deal.  Bayless and Mayo each look like they could have bounceback years.  Ersan is the only player who has really been a disappointment.  Sanders is a little bit of a wildcard, but when he is on the court, he always plays hard and is always good on defense.  And Kendall Marshall and John Henson have great chemistry running the pick-and-roll together.

They played with great tempo and ball movement yesterday and it is looking like Jason Kidd is an upgrade over Larry Drew.  I expect only 25-30 wins this season, but they look like a team that is on the rise, as they have a very good cap situation moving forward.
