What happened to this guy’s stock? I mean, at the beginning of the season he was looking like a top 10 lock, and now he’s in the 20 range within the site’s mock draft board. Does anyone else believe in his physical style of play to get back into the top 10-15 range?

I like Bridges more this year than I liked Jaylen Brown last year. There are some worries that his 3 point shooting might be a bit of a mirage because of his poor foul shooting, but he rebounds well and can block shots from the weak side. I don’t think he gets passed Portland and Miami in the first round.

This site isn’t as high on him as most. I think he will be a top 10 pick when all is said and done. The NBA loves athletes like Bridges. His shooting in individual workouts will probably play a factor in who decides to pull the trigger on him. I would be surprised as well if he gets passed Portland…he is the perfect guy to put with Lillard and McCollum on the wing.

I think he is a lock for the lottery and likely a top 10 pick. He actually increased his stock so far as most people thought he would be a 3 ir 4 year prospect.

His playing style is starting to remind me of Josh Smith.  I dont know if that’s a good or bad thing really.  It makes him a lottery pick for sure.

I have nothing against the guy and I am picking that he could go 10-22 range depending on who is picking where but…I could see one of the following being why he is lower:

Mechanics may not convert to next level(if thats what people think),Game style(positionless in a bad way),Maturity issue-if there are concerns,Injury history has he had a majory one already and how will he convert at the next level…

If he has a few of these issues that could be why he is so low on some mock drafts..

I think scouts are divided if his game can translate to the next level due to his limited length, height and wingspan. He shoots the 3 with good percentage although on a small sample size. But bad percentages on his fts. To me it is a little confusing. Plus the fact that recent hybrid 4s like derrick williams and anthony bennett didn’t pan out.

People just overcomplicate things. The kid can play above the rim and is a great athlete, he has skill and is a real fiery competitor. He’s really coachable and is a gym rat.  To me he’s one of the safest picks.

Underrated ball skills for an 18yo tweener.

Three point sample size ain’t that small, he’s hitting 2 per game, maybe he could hit more nba threes than Rose ?(13…lol).

Tweener was a bad word  5 years ago, way less nowadays, you need these 3 playing the 4(Barnes-Melo-Chandler-Tucker-Harris-Morris-Porter-Crowder), all the best 3’s in the game are playing, played or should play small ball 4(bron-KD-George-Kawhi-Alphabet-melo), it’s like the dying 5’s, you need these PF-C with shot blocking and 3 pts range or passing skills.

Bennett was a lazy dumb tweener, he was a 4 but he thought he was a 3, bad at either spot, should never have been higher than 7-8th in 2013, + he was a full year older than Bridges as a frosh.

If not injured for a month, Bridges would be closer to 18-9-2-2 IMO, that’s a lotto pick.

He should go as high as 9th, if the knicks are not selecting a PG, i could see him between zinger and melo, behind melo, behind zinger, he could also mesh with noah the passer, knicks definitly need some run-jump athletes, some cutters….players with a motor too.

     A Charles Barkley type.

I have Lonzo Ball as the top pick. Really good size for a point guard, great passer and floor general, makes others better. Some say Magic, some say Kidd, I think he is built like Pistol Pete. Ball can score in creative ways too…

Who’s at 2? Many would say Fulton, but why? Depends on who picks there. Some lotto teams already have a point guard.

Why not Bridges? About 10-15 guys can go from 3-5…

    Depends on workouts and needs…

If you need a combo forward/small ball 4 then take a hard look at Bridges.

An interesting draft with a plethora of point guards and small forwards, a high end 2 guard like Monk, a sleeper lotto pick like Grayson Allen then a couple of 4’s in that 10-range (Rabb and Giles). Not many/any centers
