Dale WorthingtonParticipantWhat are Mike Davis’ NBA prospects? I have never seen him in any 2009 or 2010 mock draft, but I’ve been really impressed with him this year. He’s got some pretty solid stats for a raw sophomore with 11.4 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per contest.
The most intriguing part of Davis’ game is his athleticism at 6-10.
This kid is the real deal.

Adi JosephHe’s very soft. According to Sports Illustrated’s feature on him in this week’s issue, he even shies away from contact.

rosey1Participantmike davis is an intriguing guy. I see him projecting more as a tall long SF in the NBA in the mold of a tayshaun prince, than playing inside. I dont think he has the body mass or will put on enough to hold his position in the paint. But its intriguing because he’s a surprisingly really good rebounder. He has amazing legnth and can cause mismatches because he can shoot from outside and is crafty inside with fakes and turnaround jumpshots. Also his defense is AMAZING. Thats one of the impressive things about him(hence the tayshaun prince comparison). That being saidvhe needs to become more agrresive, in a year or two his name will be in mocks.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantI know DraftExpress has him going #24 in the ’11 draft.

JNixonParticipantnbadraft.net will update it soon, and he’ll probably be in the lottery (undeservedly).

gatorheelsParticipantLol.
I watched that fight above. Mayweather is a beast. I can’t wait until Mayweather vs. Pacquiao !!!
As for Mike Davis, he has quite a bit of upside still. I think he is a 2011 prospect. Depending how much he improves over the next 2 seasons, he could potentially become a mid 1st round pick, maybe even late lottery.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantlooks pretty amazing.
Real nice athleticism.
How about Demetri McCamey, too?

gatorheelsParticipantHard to guess right now but I would say Brandon Paul is a 2012 prospect, probably mid to late 1st round pick.
McCarney is a very solid college player but he doesn’t have much upside in my opinion. Plus he is an undersized SG at the nba level. I guess he could try to play PG but he doesn’t have the speed to be very effective in the pros. I don’t think he gets drafted in 2011. He will have a nice career playing overseas though.

JNixonParticipantMcCamey reminds me of a less athletic Willie Green. I don’t like him as an NBA player either. Nothing in his skill set is like that of an NBA player to me. But definitely a good candidate for an overseas career, which should go very well for him.
