    He’s about 6’9″ or 6’8″, 230lbs..
Is he a very very atheltic PF of is he a very atheltic SF?
If his rebounding improves, he’ll be a Power Forward..
If his one on one defense improves, he’ll be a Small Forward..
Which do you think happens first?

i think he need to play for another team, miami is not a good fit for him. I would love this see this trade Randolph for Beasley. Beasly would be better on GSW than Miami and I think Randolph would help Miami more.

Sounds like a decent trade but i think Beasley has too much potential to give up for someone like randolph.. if miami really tried, they could arrange a deal that sent Beasley and a couple of picks and some other role players for Amar’e Stoudemire. Beasley would also fit well in the Suns offense because it’s almost like the warriors offense, heck, he’d be better off playing with a very good pg for a year or 2 before nash retires and he’ll learn how to master the pick and roll

He is a small forward not even sure if he is 6ft8 or nine he could be smaller. Needs to be more consistent. I blame him not the squad he is on. I think he is more capable of playing better D than being a better rebounder. He is not big enough by NBA standards to be a monster rebounder, and not as athletic as Gerald Wallace either to make up for it. He is still young, but I dont see any drive to dominate or really want to win games when I watch him. I still think he will be a good player, but he needs to be more competitive in the sense of wanting to destroy the other team. Too laid back and whatever with his attitude. Talents there and he is young I would not give up on him yet either though.

Beasley( b-easy) lacks desire, that is what rebounding is about. Dennis Rodman is the greatest rebounder ever and was about the same height. Also when they tested his standing reach, he had the same as Joakim Noah ( and he averages ove rrebs 10 per game). So what then what does his height matter. IF his team puts him at the 3 he will get thrashed on D. He needs to just grow up and stop caring about getting high.

I agree with Bobby and I’d say he’s a SF.
Too early to give up on him in a trade Randolph not sure about him.

was at the game, he was awful. He needs to get out of Miami, he isn’t suited to be a superstars compliment right now. If I were a young, bad, or rebuilding team, I would get this guy.

The problem with combo forwards is this. The ones like Jamison, Rashard Lewis, and Jeff green that can guard multiple positions and score from several positions on the floor make them versatile. Some of them can’t guard either position that well, which is the bad combo.

I like his talent alot, he would only be a junior in college right now, so he has so far to come still. If I were the heat I would hold onto him, because he is one of three assets they have. Wade, Jermaine O Neal’s contract, and Beasley. Compared to how deep Orlando runs, I was SHOCKED at how poor the heats personnel are. Carlos Arroyo shouldn’t start anywhere, let alone a playoff team. The crazy thing is they are better when he is in there. Chalmers is strictly a shooter, and a pretty poor defender. Jermaine can’t move anymore, its sad to see. Dorrel Wright was a bad expiriment and its time to move on. Quinton Richardson is our 4th best player, that isn’t good.

I think he’s the ultimate tweener. Measured at 6-7 during pre draft tests. Not big enough to play four, lacks some footspeed to play three and not as athletic as players like Marion or Wallace who grabs 10rbds a game despite their height

A post outside player who would be good if you fit him in the offense. D Wayde is a great player but demands the ball to much and gets so much respect that everyone just goes to him. But give Beasley some freedom and he will be fine……

Anthony Randolph has to get some more system in his playing style..if he is not doing well in that run n gun offense I dont where else he is gonna do any better but he has a high ceiling. Keep Beasley hopefully the knicks pick up randolph can use him at the 4.

First of all Michael Beasley is 6’7 without shoes, 6’81/4 with shoes

that’s Josh Smith, Trevor Ariza, Tracy McGrady height,

    Defense:

He was supposed to defend 3s this year but if he gets beat off the dribble then who’s backing him up?
6’8 Haslem or O’Neal. They only have 1 shot blocker in the line-up besides Beasley.

So if he funnels the offensive player to the basket who’s covering for him? It doesnt make sense 4 the roster that’s why Miami doesnt do it

    Offense:
He’s a bit slowfooted but you see when the Cavs played small ball Moon couldnt guard him,
Beasley can flat out score and has an unorthodox but underrated post game, he’s a pure scorer.
Pat Riley admits that if he was the primary scorer on the team he could lead the league in scoring.
But on a playoff team he is the second option, on a championship caliber team he is an excellent 3rd option.

the key is to have a shotblocker backing him up, so that he can focus on drawing fouls by posting up on offense

he could improve his point-forward skills though but right now he’s a pure scorer
