xavier328ParticipantI dont know why im so big on them but i can see them winning the Big Ten and playing in the final Four.
Illinois Vs Kentucky .

JNixonParticipantI think Michigan State at worst will make it to the Final 4. They return all their important contributers except Chris Allen, who will be replaced by Keith Appling who should be just as productive except he has more natural talent. I think they will be the national runner-up to Duke, but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they won it all.

esperanzafleet69Participantdepends on how healthy they can be…. but losing raymar morgan is gonna hurt..

JNixonParticipantYeah Raymar Morgan was an important contributor too. I left him out accidentally. He was inconsistent though. I think Draymond Green and Fr. Adreian Payne will make up for his loss. Morgan played shaky during the regular season alot, but he did always step up in the tourny. I don’t think he’s all that big a loss, considering Green was probably a more valuable player last season anyway.

hiphopismylifeParticipantThey are definitely a contender. Duke has the most talent but still some question marks as well. A lot will hinge on whether Summers can really make that jump into a full fledged star, whether they can find a shooter to replace Chris Allen and how much of a contributor Adreian Payne will be this first year because he could bring a different dimension to the frontcourt. I like their experience though.

JoeWolf1Izzo is one of the most clutch coaches in basketball. No matter if he has an up year or a down year record or talent wise, he does a phenominal job of preparing for a tournament run. With the talent his squad has this year, I’d expect a deep run.

sayounhParticipantI’m on board with everyone that MSU has a very good team led by a very good Senior point guard in Kalin Lucas and that they also have an outstanding coach in Izzo.
BUT the Big Ten looks to be one of the strongest conferences this year with Mich St, Ohio St, Purdue, Illinois and Minnesota all being mentioned as some of the top teams in the nation. I think because of this, Mich St will have somewhat of a worse-than-expected record during the regular season. I can also see them, however, overcoming a low seed and reaching the Final Four as they always seem to do in the tourney.
