    They haven’t missed the NCAA Tournament since 1997.  I think they miss it this year.  They already have five losses (could have had six), and they have zero good wins.  Also, the Big Ten isn’t great, and I see them getting five teams in at most.

    during izzo’s era the spartans bread & butter have been the leadership of their upperclassmen and their defense..both of those are lacking this season..their best players have been bridges & winston,both freshmen…the lost of unlv transfer ben carter hurt..izzo was expecting him to be among their top rebounders,shot blockers and defenders….eron harris has been inconsistent this season on both sides of the ball…

    we are just so small this year.. with schilling and ben carter both out, nick ward is our tallest player at 6’8.

    i think this year its the injury bug. they would be talented enough if they had any sort of a defensive post presence or rebounding. its what izzo builds his teams on.
