MKG could fall all the way to 7th, to the Warriors, if the Bobcats take Barnes 2nd, Wizards take Thomas Robinson 3rd, Cavs take Beal 4th, Kings draft Damian Lillard, John Henson, Zeller, or even Lamb 5th, Blazers take Drummond or Lillard 6th, and that would leave the Gilchrist to drop to 7th, to the Warriors…A lot of teams are scared off by MKG lack of offensive ability and broken jumper…He could be Andre Iguodala 2.0, someone pegged to be a franchise player, but only gives you 12 points a game…smh

The Golden State Warriors would love for MKG to slip that far, they’ve been enamored with Iguodala from afar so if they could acquire a player much like him who is known for his positive attitude and team play that would be ideal. It would also be a great spot for him to go, he’d likely get to start at small forward because of his intangibles and would have time to develop his offensive game without the pressure of being counted on to do it night in and night out.

It would absolutely be a win for the Warriors and likely MKG in the long run.

You got a point and he very well could fall because of the questions about his offense along with the rise of Damian Lillard.  GSW would be the ideal landing spot for him if GSW does not pursue Iggy.  MKG would give GSW everything they are missing affordably at SF for the next 3-4 years.  Acore of Curry , Thompson , Rush , MKG , Lee , Bogut , and Biedrins is a good young team on paper.

Yeah,I’m also hearing he’s falling out of the top 3…..Doug Gottlieb has said he believes MKG will be career reserve and he’ll take Moe Harkless ahead of him..Gottlieb doesnt have him ranked in his top 10..But Gottlieb has been wrong a few times..So he’s no expert…

But i love MKG’s toughness, heart, willingness to do the little things to help a team….And his post game is very underrated…

Yes,he’s a Role player, but he plays with the mindset of a Franchise Player..His attitude, work ethic and maturity is exactly what the Wizards need after years of boneheaded players like Blatche,McGee & Young…

Don’t bet on him slipping.  If he doesn’t go to the Bobcats, then he will be a Washington Wizard. Supposedly the organization said they aren’t going to let him slip past them and they think he could complement Wall. Here is the link

MKG would be a dream pickup for the Warriors.  They have Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in the backcourt, each of whom are very limited slashers and defenders, but are outstanding shooters.  MKG is the ideal complement, bringing in a player who can attack the basket and defend the opponents top player, while having his lack of shooting offset by the rest of the team’s shooting.  I doubt MKG actually falls that far, though.  Sacramento should definitely pick him up if they get the chance.

I think he goes #3 to the Wizards and his absolute floor is the Kings at #5. He fits great with the Wizards, Cavs, and Kings at 3,4, and 5. Can’t see him falling to 7.

will be mistake for Charlott not to take him second, he would never be the main guy type player but he has the attribute to be the perfect number 2 and that’s gold to a team.

highly unlikely that Cleveland would pass on him but in the event that they would, no chance Sac does the same thing.

There’s a report just in stating that MKG won’t fall past Washington, but it could be a smokescreen. I hope it is too.

If he fell all the way to 7, which he more than likely won’t happen. The GSW would be besides themselves to not only get one of probably their 2 main targets in MKG and Barnes, but to get them at 7 without having to make any moves. to do so. Front Office and Marc Jackson is probably somewhere praying for this miracle.

I’m hearing if Charlotte can’t move the No. 2 pick, they’re taking Thomas Robinson, which makes sense because they view Biyombo as a 5, and they’re fairly comfortable with Kemba-Henderson-Maggette. They have nothing but headcases and scrubs at the 4, and Thomas Robinson seems pretty guaranteed to bring energy, tenacity, and more refinement than MKG.

That would leave MKG to Washington, which already has a lot of offense in Wall, Crawford, and Nene, views Vesely as a 4, and almost certainly prefers MKG over Chris Singleton.

The Cavaliers will take Beal over Barnes. Either someone will trade up to No. 5 for Drummond, or Sacramento will take Barnes. Lillard 6 to Portland, and either Barnes or Drummond fall to Golden State, which can be quite thankful for Lillard’s rise!

He will not slip past the Kings, no way in hell. He is the ideal fit for the team, by far.

I just can’t see this happening. Can’t see him slipping past 5 let alone all the way to 7. Even if Barnes is gone, I’m positive the Cav’s will take him, if not the Kings will. Same as Drummound, he’s not slipping out of the top 5. The only guy who has a possibility of slipping right now is Beal because although he has top 5 talent, he does not match the team needs at those positions as well as the other top prospects.

I’m not trying to be insensitive here, but is anyone else even slightly concerned by MKG’s interviews? I know everyone says he has a "stuttering problem" ,but I’ve literally never heard the guy stutter EVER, and he just always seems so disoriented and spaced out. This is not to say he isn’t a fabulous prospect and can flat out play, but picking up complex schemes may come more difficult for him. Again, please don’t take this as me being insensitive, and please correct me and give me any additional info you may know. It’s just something I’ve had on my mind after watching the combine interviews and then going back and checking out some of his video from Kentucky and High School.

I don’t know about you, but I have never heard anyone ding his intelligence or his ability to learn an offense.  He is a pretty vocal player on the court and was a leader of that Kentucky team that won the NAt’l championship.  I know you aren’t trying to be mean, but I think he is probably one of the more NBA ready prospects from a mental standpoint.  He just isn’t a guy whose strength is public speaking.

GSW would be sat there rubbing their hands if MKG fell all the way to them and if he can have the sort of career that Iggy has had so far then he would certainly be a good pick up wherever he is drafted.

I guess we’ve entered Silly Season (aka the two weeks approaching the draft.)

You want to draft guys who have a poor handle and will never be franchise players due to an inability to become dominant isolation scorers ahead of K-G? Go ahead.

I think it’s stupid.  A jumper is the easiest skill to fix.  Dribble moves are the hardest. (For the obvious reason that it’s easier to fix a jumper practicing alone – no years of playground experimentation required.)

If my Wizards pass on him, I will be mega-pissed.  He is the perfect complement to JW and their entire nucleus really.  I can’t imagine they’d be so foolish.

MKG is prob just uncomfortable on camera. He’s most likely more concerned with the stutter than what he actually says on camera. Have you ever seen a D Rose interview?  He always looks and sounds uncomfortable but his game IQ is undeniable. My guess is MKG interviews off camera much better.

Why does everyone think MKG to the Wizards is a good thing.  Im not saying that it won’t happen but i don’t think its a great fit.  In my opinion they need outside shooting, someone to spread the floor this is not MKG.  I think he will be ok in the league i picture Cory Brewer, a better overall player but similar style.  I know some people are really high on him but for me if he goes to the Wizards i think its not a great fit i think a team like Cleveland would be better.  And I don’t think he falls to the Warriors but that would also be a great fit for him and the team.

Having a good media image, is very different to how someone will come across as a team mate and what sort of basketball IQ they might have. Some guys aren’t that sharp on or off court but others are completely different.

I don’t see MKG to the Wizards.  The more I think of it, the better a fit Beal is.  Beal can lights out shoot, which is Wall’s major issue.  Add in Singleton at the 3 (and shooting the corner 3) and you’re almost at a well-spaced offensive team given Wall and Nene’s passing ability.  MKG causes severe spacing issues, leaving Crawford the only shooter.  MKG fits well in Cleveland, but Gee is servicable and at that point, after a homerun last year, Drummond fits better to learn behind Varejao… and then no way in hell should Sacto pass on MKG.  They need a culture change more than anyone else in the NBA and MKG instantly provides that.

I believe the Wizaards will take him third. No way he slips out of the Top 5.
