in the summer of 1996, the knicks offered michael jordan a five year, $135 million contract. jordan said recently that he was 85% sure he would take it. but his agent told him otherwise. their roster would have included: michael jordan, patrick ewing, john starks, charles oakley, and allan houston among others. this may very well be what happens with lebron next summer. who knows?
That would’ve been a good team, but I’m glad it didn’t happen. Great Players should stay with their team through it all unless it really is that bad.
