    Hi there. Michael Carter-Williams is the value pick of this draft. He has the potential to be a Jason Kidd type of point guard. My two cents. Refer back to Paul George, Klay Thompson, Demarcus Cousins, Kawhi Leonard, etc. Take care. Thanks.

    The other big PG (Marcus Smart) is closer to Jason Kidd than MCW.

    As for MCW as a NBA prospect, I personally not as high on him as most people are. I have doubts whether he will be able to score effectively in the NBA, he’s a good passer with good size, but I see him struggling offensively.

      Agreed, I don’t think he will be able to get by people in the NBA and there for not be able to create for anyone

    One thing that MCW has going for him is the success of Greivis Vasquez, a 6’6″ point guard who like MCW had a poor jumper. Vasquez put in the work and now he has a pretty decent jumper and his top 5 in assists. MCW is more athletic and I believe if he puts in the work to improve his jumper and get stronger, he will be an even better player than Greivis

    Shawn Livingston type, jason kidd has always been a strong physical pg who wasnt an overwhelming athlete, carter williams is kinda the opposite

    Im not super high on MCW. He is a good passer and has good length getting his hand on a few balls in defense. He can’t shoot and isn’t really quick enough to penetrate. On defense I think he will have to guard the opponents SG not PG.

    Jason Kidd was way faster than Smart and still a good sum faster than carter Williams

    No way you could have thought Greivis Vasquez was just a shooter in college, at Maryland dude did it ALL literally.

      Vasquez was more of a scorer than a shooter but yeah he did everything for Maryland. He almost single handedly best a final four bound Michigan State team in his final year.

    Hi there. Saw a few Syracuse games and Carter-Williams looks like a creative player with an improving defensive game. I actually agree with you all on his offensive game. Not the quickest player or smoothest jumper. He’s sharp, though, and will make his teammates around him better. Take care. Thanks.
