What kind of offers do you think he’ll receive this offseason. He’s making 1.4M this year on a one year deal. He’s been getting more minutes since Jabari went down and his numbers are great this year. Playing with amazing efficiency as bench scorer. There’s obvious risks signing him to a big money long term deal given his history but he’s been impressive this year.

i don’t think he’s in Milwaukees long term plans given their youth and salary situation with Monroes option and Giannis’s big money kicking in. Also Mirza and Henson are just eating up 22 million useless dollars so would be nice if they could find anyone to take them off their hands as part of a trade.

Back to Beasley where does he fit and what does it cost?

BTW I’m convinced Kidd has been tasked with tanking this season watching this game.

    Beasley season stat line..17 mpg, 9.5 ppg, 54% fg, 42% 3pt

Bucks score 42 points against in the first half against likely the worst team and defense in the league, 42! Beasley plays 8 minutes goes 5/5 for 11 points and had his way when he was in. Either tanking or Kidds just not a good coach which is still a strong possibility.

Beasley picked on Chriss everytime he guarded him. Made Chriss look like a D-Leaguer.

Even with that, I was impressed that Mike didn’t settle for jumpers. He stayed in attack mode and hit a bunch of strong contested layups. I can see why he gets run over Henson, but I too was suprised at how slow Kidd was to go back to him. Giannas was rolling in the 2nd, but you can play those two together easily.

Side comment: I was dissapointed Chandler didn’t play today.

I think he’ll fit into a state where marijuana is legal, lol, just joking, he worked his butt off to be back in the league today, I think any team that might want to add off the bench scoring from the front line position while hiding his defensive liability.

I wonder if he’s turned over a new leaf? He seems to be keeping his nose clean, pardon the pun, and looks like he’s thriving off the bench. Honestly, on this Milwaukee team I don’t know why he didn’t average more minutes. Especially with Middleton and Parker out.

Beasley makes sense for a veteran team that needs a little more punch off the bench:

Back in Houston they play little to no defense and its all about scoring.Beasley fit D’antonis system big time..

Washington-Could be a nice fit off the bench with a defensive SG and whatever position he doesn’t play out of PF/SF

Atlanta-He could be a nice fit to help give their bench some scoring punch…

Nola to give their bench a big lift…I don’t know if he played under gentry with Suns though so may not work maybe..

I also wouldn’t mind him off the bench in OKC for cheap price if we lose Roberson in F.A(as a bench player would be promoted)..

The price I see beasley going for though is between vet min/MLE(if he wants Ring)- about 7-8 mill max(due to new CBA) Year wise though between 2-4 years depending on price range..

Although it’s probably not a good place for Beas off the court, it’d be cool to see him reunited with Spoelstra & company in Miami. Beasley’s ability to score in bunches & stretch the floor should be a nice complement to Whiteside on the interior. He’d essentially be playing the 2015 Chris Bosh role.

Beasley has been extremely impressive this year and it makes sense considering he’s now a 28 year old veteran whose in his prime.

Physically he’s in the best shape I ever saw him and has a new slimmed down lean build making him able to effectively play SF full time if need be.  He’s quicker and bouncicer then ever and the work he’s put in on his body is evident.

Despite his ridiculously efficient scoring this season his biggest change has been how well rounded his game has become.  He’s now become a viable tertiary play maker on offense and even defense.

My only disappointment with him is he never translated his dominant rebounding ability.   Still there’s a bunch of playoff teams that could use his scoring off the bench like the Hornets and Hawks. And there’s even a couple teams I could see him starting at SF for like the Pelicans and Magic.
