Miami signed Da’Sean Butler to a 2 year deal with undisclosed terms.. Honestly, I think that this means that he has made the roster.. It is common knowledge that he wont be ready to do anything until the start of the season. I think that this means that the team has liked what they have seen in him so far as a person and think that his skills will translate to the NBA and the Miami Heat..

What are your thoughts on this..

BTW, this puts their current roster at 18 heading into camp..

I think they cut Randolph, Beverly, and Hasbrouck… They dont have a need for Randolph with guys like Anthony, Haslem, Bosh, Big Z and Pitman.. With Beverly and Hasbrouck, Wade is going to eat most the minutes at their positions and what he doenst play, Miller, Chalmers, House, and Arroryo will eat up…

A lot depends on training camp as there will be other invites and a few veterans looking for roster spaces but I hope Butler makes the cut.

My guess is they will cut 2 guards and one big man. Like 8thDeadlySin said, Randolph, Beverley and Hasbrouck will probably be the victims of their center signing frenzy this off-season. They are the only 3 players on the team without a guaranteed contract.

Heard about this a little while ago and I’m very glad. Its almost a shame that he’s in Miami because I feel he could be a great role player on a team like Sacramento or New York. I doubt he gets much playing time unless there’s an injury to LBJ or Wade.

I dont know how well he has recovered but before the injury i dont put him that far behind evan turner.
