    Why the HELL would they re-sign Shavlik Randolph and Kenny Hasbrouck instead of just signing Da’Sean Butler and Jarvis Varnado.

    Hasbrouck actually had a good summer league but i dont know why either.

    Randolph and Hasbrouck will literally never see the court…you know what you’re getting from them…With Butler and Varnado at least you have the potential to strike gold

    They will get some playing time. I think both Randolph and Hasbrouck will be good role players.

    Varnado will be signed I think he will be a solid player for the rotation this year. Pittman and Butler will most likely be sent to the NBDL.

    nba teams can carry 20 players to training camp so those two can still be cut. I think they are sign merely for competition in training camp and preseason. If they do well they make the team if not they can easily cut them and sign guys like Butler and Varnado.

    IDK if anyone else knew about this but Butler has had a minor setback and had to have surgery again on that knee.. It is nothing major but will set him back.. He is hoping to be ready by the start of the season but it doenst look great right now..
