adjose5Participantwhats up fellas, been a while since I been on here but I’m back now and wanted to get your thoughts on Miami next year. Idk if this toipic was posted already but I just wanted to ask what you thought. If you look atMiamis Free AgentsMike Bibby, Mario Chalmers, Eddie House, Zydrunas Illgauskas, Jamal Magloire, James Jones, Erick Dampier and Juwan HowardReturnersLebron, Wade, Bosh, Haslem, MillerWho do you guys see them bringing back and then picking up in Free Agency?I feel like their biggest holes are PG, Ceven though he had a horrible Finals, I feel like Mike Bibby would be a fine back up PG for whoever they draft/sign. I don’t believe Chalmers will be back, I think he’ll sign somewhere else especially after a solid NBA finals performance. Eddie House could possibly be back too. if they don’t bring back James Jones, I see them going after a shooter/wing playerFree agents point guards/wings available that’d fit their style of playJJ Barea- may cost too muchAaron Brooks- possible but looking for a long term dealRodney Stuckey- too much $$$Earl Watson- possible**dont laugh when I mention this…..Delonte West**- long shot thoughwings- that may be cheap and IF Jones isn’t resignedRasual ButlerAnthony ParkerMike DunleavyShane BattierMichael ReddRoger MasonJason KaponoGrant HillJosh HowardMo EvansI can maybe see them bring back Juwan Howard as a locker room/end of the bench guy but I think Big Z and Magloire are doneFree agent bigs who may fitJoel PryzbillaTroy MurphyKwame BrownNazr MohammedKurt ThomasKenyon MartinJeff FosterChuck HayesLeon PoweIts also hard to say with the new CBA and who’d they be able to sign and how much they’d have. Maybe some guys like Bibby , who took a 6million dollar pay cut to compete for a chip, will follow his suit and want to play. I’m intrigued to see what happens and I do feel like they need to make some changesLet me know what you guys think. Feels good to be back on. Look forward to your replies0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/13/2011 - 2:59pm #544477

Haha, that’s what I thought.
Joel Anthony will also return.
I think Kenyon Martin would fit extremely well. He was always very good on switches, which would fit perfectly for the Heats defensive style. He obviously has to stay healthy.
Veteran Wings like Battier, Hill or Redd would be solid options also but they will not see a lot of time. Probably like 15mpg, maybe a little more if Lebron plays more PG.

HuRRiCaNeS324ParticipantAs a HEAT fan all im hoping for is that there is a season next year because i know we will be better in every facet.
We are getting rid of a lot of dead weight; Z, Magloire, Howard, House, Dampier, and even Bibby for the most part. Those are wasted roster spots and shows only horrible depth. Chalmers will be resigned no matter what. If the CBA remains in tact (which it wont) the Bird Rights lets us keep him. If it changes i read they have some sort of a tag so franchises can better keep their players.
The HEAT will go hard after a center and Dalembert is the most realistic option. Hopefully we can get a good veteran player like Battier or Grant Hill. Get another center for depth in Jeff Foster or Pryzbilla. Sign one vet PG and draft either Selby, Shumpert, Smith, Mack, Jenkins, Cole, or Jackson and we are set (preferably Jackson, Selby, Shumpert).
Chalmers/Jackson-Shumpert-Selby/Vet PG

Bosh/Haslem
Dalembert/Anthony/Foster/Pittman
