QHaynes20Sanchez?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 12:59pm #228419
tjtehanskyParticipantthe offer you sent i don’t think i can do. Rivers to sanchez is a big downgrade so is mendenhall to brown.. its two pretty big downgrades and i’m getting one. maybe if i got ryan i could do that.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:02pm #228421
QHaynes20So If I swapped Ryan….ud do that deal?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:02pm #228423
tjtehanskyParticipantyea i think so
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:06pm #228424
QHaynes20see…but then to be honest…i would prob want Sims Walker…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:06pm #228425
tjtehanskyParticipantbut then you are winning the trade by a landslide. i can’t cripple my team
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:14pm #228430
QHaynes20How can I get these guys then
Rivers, Evans, Avery and Mendenhall
I saw those guys…I would like to make it in 1 deal
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:19pm #228433
tjtehanskyParticipantRyan,AJ,Brown, i’d like henderson also but idk who else would you give or wouldn’t you give anyone else?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:22pm #228434
QHaynes20What would your offer be just for Andre Johnson
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:23pm #228436
tjtehanskyParticipantidk i’m not good at thinking of offers. what players would you want for AJ?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:26pm #228438
QHaynes20I dunno…to be honest, I like Both Jennings and Sims Walker as well as Mendenhall.
I think I want just those 3
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:28pm #228439
tjtehanskyParticipantidk we probably won’t be able to work a deal then. i’m trying to fill my wr3 gap and trading either of them doesn’t help me in any way.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:34pm #228440
QHaynes20How can I get Avery and Mendenhall then?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:35pm #228442
tjtehanskyParticipantidk all i really want is AJ
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:39pm #228443
QHaynes20why cant we do the deal I sent you?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/10/2009 - 1:42pm #228444
tjtehanskyParticipantbecause i don’t really trust sanchez at all.

Mark H WrightParticipantOther free agents in 2014 might include Dwyane Wade (ETO), Chris Bosh (ETO), Carmelo Anthony (ETO), Rudy Gay (PO), Amar’e Stoudemire (ETO), Paul Pierce, Danny Granger, Andre Iguodala, Monta Ellis, Dirk Nowitzki, Luol Deng, Zach Randolph (PO), O.J. Mayo, John Wall (R), DeMarcus Cousins (R), Marcin Gortat, Andrew Bogut and number of other impact players.

PowerGEGEParticipantFor the Nets, who have outspent nearly every team in the NBA this offseason, it’s about adding one more big body in a low-risk, high-reward type of scenario.

PowerGEGEParticipantThe Toronto Raptors are in the ending stages of a long-term rebuilding project, which just might give the franchise an opportunity to break its current four-year playoff drought during the 2012-13 campaign. Armed with an assortment of former lottery picks on its roster, the Raptors have been watching the chemistry of its young core grow and develop while also looking at ways to bolster their talent by acquiring All-Star talent via free agency and trade.

PowerGEGEParticipant“We’ve got the means to make a big deal if the right deal presents itself,” Colangelo said. “We passed on a few deals this summer because the assets that were going were too much the risk for short term contract.”
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:11am #714560
PowerGEGEParticipantLet’s be clear, Tyreke Evans, the former Rookie of the Year, has game. But, the problem plaguing Evans isn’t about overall talent or ability. Evans hasn’t been able to find his niche at the pro level as the Sacramento Kings have tried to utilize him at point guard, shooting guard and small forward without finding the right fit.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:12am #714566
PowerGEGEParticipant“Eventually something would happen,” Evans said. “I’m just trying to do whatever I can to get us rolling this year. I’ve been working on my game. I got a lot to prove. The most important thing is I’m a lot better than I was last year. I’ve been receiving a lot of criticism about not being healthy and not playing like I did my rookie year. I just want to come back this year and show people I’m still here and that I haven’t lost a step.

PowerGEGEParticipantWilliams, the No. 22 overall pick of the 2010 draft, has been oft-injured since entering the league. The guard missed his entire rookie season recuperating from knee surgery on both knees. Last season Williams appeared in only 24 games before being forced to shut it down due to a shoulder injury which also required surgery.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:14am #714577
PowerGEGEParticipantThomas Robinson: Word around the draft was that the Kings were going to trade the fifth overall pick, unless Robinson fell to them, which is exactly happened. Robinson was pegged by many, HOOPSWORLD included, as the second-best player in the draft. For the Kings to get him at five was huge, especially when you consider how promising the duo of him and DeMarcus Cousins can be inside. Don’t pay much mind to his summer league struggles, which had far more to do with him being used more as a small forward than his actual ability to play at this level. Coach Smart will use him properly and he should be one of the most productive rookies as a result.

PowerGEGEParticipantThose words were spoken by Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle earlier this week as he sat alongside the majority of his new players for the 2012-13 NBA season. On his right were Dahntay Jones, Darren Collison, O.J. Mayo, Chris Kaman and Elton Brand, all lined up at a table with microphones in front of each.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:16am #714587
PowerGEGEParticipant“You know, I’ve established a pretty good relationship with Dirk and I feel like I’m comfortable playing with him,” said Kaman. “That was one of the things that helped bring me here to Dallas. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to play with one of the greatest players in the NBA, as well as one of the best European players. I’m in a pretty comfortable position here.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:17am #714592
PowerGEGEParticipant“That’s the role I’ve had throughout my career and it’s something I take pride in,” said Jones. “My role is primarily to play defense, to play hard, but also to knock down open shots and to be an all-around player. There are lots of guys here who will lead the team in scoring, but my job is to come in and change the tempo of the game and make it hard for the other team and I enjoy that role.”
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:18am #714598
PowerGEGEParticipant“One thing about it, you know we have the Lakers game one,” said Mayo. “We don’t need to do too much talking, but I think after that game, I believe Mavs fans will be excited and have big smiles on their faces, and that’s what it’s all about.”

PowerGEGEParticipantBlatche, Nets Finally Team Up
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:20am #714609
PowerGEGEParticipantWe HOOPSWORLD reported last week, free agent big man Andray Blatche and the Brooklyn Nets will team up for the 2012-13 NBA season, at least on a non-guaranteed basis. After being subject to the amnesty clause, Blatche is not looking for money as much as he’s looking for an opportunity to show that he does, indeed, belong in the NBA.

PowerGEGEParticipant“We had a chance to jump in there but he wasn’t the right fit for our team given the circumstances and the pieces that needed to go in and out,” Colangelo said. “His contract with one year of permanency and one year where he could opt out was too much risk given that we were unloading several current and future assets.”e42
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:24am #714623
PowerGEGEParticipantIn the rumored Iguodala scenario the Raptors would have had to part ways with promising guard DeMar DeRozan, third-year forward Ed Davis, guard Jose Calderon and a first-round pick.e321
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:24am #714628
PowerGEGEParticipantBut Colangelo didn’t rule out the team actively seeking trade offers for Calderon with Lowry now in the fold. Calderon, a low turnover guard, is in the last year of a contract which will pay him $10.6 million in 2013 – a deal which could bring tremendous value near the trade deadline.21312
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:25am #714633
PowerGEGEParticipant“I mentioned whether Jose [Calderon] was with this team or serving this team as a trade asset,” Colangelo said. “He really is a trade asset with that expiring contract.”wqeq
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:26am #714638
PowerGEGEParticipantThe Raptors finished 23-43 last season but significantly increased their win percentage over their 2011 edition. The team enters the 202-13 season as a sleeper pick to make the postseason boosted by the addition of veterans Lowry and Fields and rookies Jonas Valanciunas and Terrence Ross.rq3432

er2q0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:31am #714654
PowerGEGEParticipantNot surprisingly, Evans’ future with the organization has come into the question and he’s been the subject of an assortment of trade rumors over the past season. Evans could potentially be a free agent next summer, but the Kings could choose to lock him up to a multiyear deal before letting the guard hit the open market.eewqwq

PowerGEGEParticipantKings general manager Geoff Petrie says the team isn’t looking to lock Evans up immediately, but didn’t close the door of something being worked on down the line.daeqw
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:32am #714664
PowerGEGEParticipant“I don’t think it’s something on the front burner at this point,“ Petrie told Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports. “Going forward salary cap-wise, we have a lot of flexibility. There are no real concerns about our ability to pay going forward because of our future numbers. The most important thing in the big picture is that Tyreke takes his game to another level. The reward for that is ultimately what’s greater in a lot of respects.”edase23124
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:33am #714669
PowerGEGEParticipantEvans is taking the trade talk and uncertain contract situation in stride, choosing to focus on his game as the first priority.

0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 7:35am #714684
PowerGEGEParticipant“He’s been a lot more focused this summer,” Petrie said. “Part of it is maturing as a player. You kind of forget that he is only 22 years old. He’s definitely put in more work and concentration in trying to improve parts of his game. He wants to be thought of as one of the best players in the league.”e2121
