blink3ebfanParticipantOf course I’m going to think up a Melo to Philly trade. Philly needs a superstar. They have some good assets with a couple of different #2 and #3 options, if they were able to make a trade for a superstar, they could potentially contend in the near future. To get that superstar back in return we would need to send a good veteren player, expiring contracts, a young asset and a future draft pick.
Sixers Trade:
Andre Iguodala
Marreese Speights
Willie Green
Jason Smith
Future first round pickNuggets Trade
Carmelo Anthony
Chris AndersonThe Nuggets still have a competative team and have Iggy, Lawson, JR Smith and Speights to build around for the future. The sixers have the superstart they sorely need and the perfect compliment to Turner and Holiday. I think Melo could potentially revive Elton Brands career as well. With defenses keyed in on Melo, Brand could use his craftiness to find open spots on the floor. Here is what the depth chart would look like for both teams
Sixers
PG Jrue Holiday Lou Williams
SG Evan Turner Jason Kapono Jodie Meeks
SF Carmello Anthony Thaddeus Young
PF Elton Brand Andres Nocioni
C Spencer Hawes Chris AndersonNuggets
PG Chauncey Billups Ty Lawson
SG JR Smith Willie Green
SF Andre Iguodala Aaron Afflalo Renaldo Balkman
PF Kenyon Martin Marreese Speights
C Nene Jason SmithThen the sixers would have to try and lock down Melo to a long term contract which should be reasonable with the sixers mix of young talented players and veteran players.

apb540ParticipantEvery day. I would trade anything to get Melo then rename the Wachovia Center the Melo Center. Jrue, Turner, Melo can compete with good teams.

Lewieeeee26Participantare my two favourite teams haha
i think melo stays in denver and signs the extension… he has already said he wants too.
and all the “trade him at the deadline” talk is garbage.
the other thing to factor in… all the big FA at the moment are staying east… he stays in denver its melo vs kobe vs durant for the next three years out west. personally i like those odds better than trying to take down any of the “mini dream teams” before the finals anyways (the lakers will regress a little this year, thunder are going to improve)even so… the nuggets are not trading melo AND birdman.
they are literally the soul of the team and the two most popular players on the roster.
if birdman goes anywhere it will be part of an al jefferson trade
