Never thought about that he wore #22 in high school and like you said that’s taken I am going to guess #16. Also what number is Chauncey Billups going to wear #1 is taken by Stoudemire, #3 by Shawne Williams, and #7 by Kelenna Azubuike?

I would love it if he wore #11, but that is taken by Andy Rautins who has played in only 4 games this whole season so maybe if Carmelo really wants #11 he could get it from the rookie with some cash.

I might have some hope for #11 because that is half of 22 which was his high school number and 11 is right there with 15 in the teens. The only problem like I said would be to get in from Rautins who has only played in four games this year for four minutes and 42 seconds. I am praying that Carmelo chooses #11, come on Melo!

Maybe seriously if 3 is available he takes that as the Knicks have won two titles and the next one is number 3 and they hope to get a 3rd franchise level player next summer or just takes an original number if he can maybe 81 to lay down a marker to Kobe etc.
