NYK2010ParticipantMello doesn’t play as much D as Wade, offensively Mello is a better shooter though. BRoy hasn’t been in the league long enough to be better than him yet he might be though. Wade is allowed to take any shot he wants can’t say the same for the other top players in the league, I see how you’d think Mello is better than Wade though. Granger isn’t better than Melo yet.

xbadgerhustlerParticipantthis dude clearly didn’t watch Wade in the finals. he won those 4 games in a row BY HIMSELF. I don’t care about shaq, antoine walker, J Will, Payton, Posey…. none of those people mattered. DWade willed his team to win that series.
Carmelo couldn’t even get deep into the playoffs with Allen Iverson…
DWade was a machine again this year, so any talk that he’s not as good as a few years back…. that’s garbage, he just didn’t have the same supporting cast.

Melo and Wade have just about the same skill level. I’m almost with you SDE. I think Melo is a better pure scorer than Wade. Melo finds better ways to score (post ups, three-pointers and just being a bully in general) because he doesn’t have Wade’s athleticism. Wade can go, but Melo scores in more ways.
I have to give Wade the slightest of edges because he has the ring and won the NBA championship single handely. If Melo had a ring, I would agree with you.

If anthony is so much better of an offensive player than wade, why did he only shoot 45%FG? why did he get only .8 rebounds/gm more than wade when he’s supposed to be a forward and wade is a guard? because wade is a freak and anthony… is not

Wade had horrible shooting in his first 2 yrs. in the NBA, but he’s developed into one of the best fade-away shooters also he drives harder and better. Plus, his defence is incredible for being a guard. I mean every once in a while hell come up and block you. Just never post any of this crap again. (Example)—Kobe is worse than Kevin Martin… LMAO.

I mean melo really went to another level after billups arrived and in the playoffs i think he made himself a superstar. the way he battled with kobe showed that olympic team experience really changed melo and he is now a force to be reckoned with. wade is a great player as well. i mean u can make the argument that he basically carried the heat this year. but jus for the record all u people who use stats to say someone is better stop it now!! 1st off u act like the players shoot the same number of shots. Dwyane averaged more than melo simply becuase wade had free reign 2 shoot whenver he wanted or felt like it. Melo on the other hand had teammates who could score and had 2 give up shots in order 2 make the team successful. and some of u use assist and watnot and again wade had the ball damn near th ewhole gam esometimes. Melo doesnt dominate the ball the same way. bt back 2 the post i will give wade the edge simply becuase he’s won a ring

Ok… Mid-Range I will say D-Wade is up there with Kobe on being able to knock down mid-range shots back to back… Defense? Rebounding? Blocking shots? Steals? Carrying a team to the playoffs? Scoring 55? Passing? Are you guys really serious in saying D-Wade isn’t better than Melo? Melo is nice and I like him, but he’s not on his level or above him… He’s getting up there tho, I will admit that, but not better… I know I’m about to get some negative reveiws for this (because people love LBJ), but in my opinion Wade is the second best player in the league with Kobe being first… Kobe, Wade, LBJ…. CP3, Melo and so on….
