PhogifyParticipantIt is also extremely disrespectful to the godly figure that goes by the name of Ben. Why nbadraft.net? Why put down the most talented player in the 2013 draft class like this? While I party when Big Ben is selected #2, you will all realize the true greatness.
If I am wrong, then I will look extremely foolish.
Buuut, if I am right I will look soooo good.
Maybe it is too late for me to be posting.

Look if it was based on who I think should go first, it would be him. That isn’t what I’m hearing will happen. Look where Drummond went last year: 9th. We had him 2nd.

theballerwayParticipantConsidering the relative team needs, his rumoured poor workouts and all the holes in his game that for some reason everybody expects to dissappear by next year. He really could be very Nick Young ish.

PhogifyParticipantTeams claiming that a player had poor workouts in effort to try to get that player to slip to them in the draft is a strategy that has been used for awhile now. That is the most serious thing I will say in this thread, this thread was not supposed to be taken seriously.

For_Never_EverParticipantHe is going to be the biggest steal at 8. Ben and CJ McCollum, are still the two guys I believe will turn out being the best out of the draft. Usually players ranging from 8 to 12 are the players everyone looks back on.

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantCleveland likes Alex Len over everyone. Orlando likes Oladipo more. Washington needs a SF, So Otto Porter or takes chance at Bennett. Charlotte makes questionable picks all the time and Zeller has a nice game with a lot of upside. McLemore supposedly showed up out of shape for Phoenix, but I think it was a ploy to make his draft stock fall, so I think they’d have the decision between Mac and Noel. New Orleans doesn’t need a SG and Trey Burke can help them at PG. Sacramento, just depends what they want and where they see Tyreke at and I think Bennett fits better on the team. This is why he’d fall to 8. I think he’s still arguably the best player in the draft, but this is what the reports say and what the facts say. Most likely I don’t think he’ll fall that far, but It’s just impossible to guess this top 10, 1 thing happens and everything can change.

JunkYardDogParticipantthat’s not a joke, that is the draft.
it’s not a judgement on who is the best player or even better prospect. There are lots of other things to keep in mind : team needs, GM wish, GM fear of losing their job, teams chemistry, influence of the combine, influence of the workouts, media buzz (good or bad), luck, fear of failure, gambling pleasure…
that’s why the draft is so entertaining, cause it’s not completly rational.
Could minny grab McLemore (through trades or 9th pick) ?… that would be a HUGE steal. In my mind Oladipo is more and more overrated even if he’s a solid prospect.

HobbyOGParticipantI can’t trust any player coming out of Kansas..The last several players who came out of Kansas early all flopped hard..Hopefully Wiggins can brake the curse.

hylandptParticipantLooks like Evans wasn’t extended with the Kings..heard it from a recent article.
Kings will only have Thorton at SG, they could certainly use CJ or McLemore.

PistonsFan22ParticipantKings offered Tyreke Evans a one year qualifying offer. He will become a restricted free agent. It allows the Kings to see what kind of offers he will receive in free agency before deciding whether to sign him to a long term deal. He could still very well be a King depending on the amount of money the Kings will have to match. This was a very smart move by the Kings so they don’t overpay for him.

theballerwayParticipantthey extended Evans a qualifying offer a couple days ago so unfortunately he isn’t gone yet. Unfortunately for him as I think he may get low balled on contract offers
Not long now. All this build up for one loooong night
