KHAM83ParticipantAccording to hoopshype, teams are unable to get McGary in for a workout and these teams believes he has a promise in the 20s of round one. They do no list any team making these rumors. Just thought I’ll mention it for everyone doing their mocks.
If so, I suspect Miami, of course, as well as Houston. If the rockets deal Asik finally, they’ll need a backup that’s nearly ready to give minutes. Memphis is a thought, but my dark horse is Chicago at 19. Everyone keeps suggesting Payne to Chicago there, but with Gibson and Mirotic looking more likely to come over next season, there’s no need for Payne. McGrary can provide a solid backup center, which they haven’t had since Asik.

MopgrassParticipantI would think he’s still hurt. I don’t think he’ll make the 1st round.

FutureNBAGMParticipantHes one of many guys in this draft that could as high as early 20’s or slip to mid 2nd round. Either way, I dont see a very long career for him.

terrancebowerParticipantThey need a backup big and don’t have much money to find a free agent. Could be well worth the risk. With a loaded 1st round like this though I think it’d be stupid to give him a promise considering the other players that might slip that far.

Captain LParticipantI don’t see McGary as a center , I think he’ll play the 4, he can shoot the mid range shot, has pretty good handles for his size, good passer, good motor, good bball IQ, if he can remain healthy I think he can have a solid career.

natedogggParticipantCould be the Clippers needing a back up big.
