     After his Nuggets workout, Brandon McCoy said that he believed he was the best center in the draft.

    The NBA apparently didn’t think so

    Who do you think will pick him up?

     This isn’t karma bro lol.  This is just standard rookie interview talk.  Nowhere near as bad as MPJ saying he was a mix of Giannis/Kd and TMac but better.  

    I’m sure atleast half the league is trying to get him on they’re summer league roster.  I’m still surprised he wasn’t drafted but I’m wondering if they’re weren’t personal red flags that were not disclosed to the media and why he was taken off of draft boards.

     I actually predicted he wouldn’t get drafted. But I don’t think it has anything to do with him saying that. He’s just not the type of center teams are looking for right now.

     We all knew this was a crazy deep draft and very good prospects wouldn’t get drafted. I wouldn’t have predict this many, but there are a lot of bad GMs. Also a lot of Euros go because they can stash them overseas. Frankly I want a guy that has confidence. McCoy did outplay the number one pick head to head. So its not crazy.

       Interesting you mention that. Ive been skeptical of Ayton and i find it a bit worrying an undrafted guy can out play the overall #1. It happens, everyone is a professional level athlete, but you’d like to think if you were PHX that the #1 would comprehensively dismantle a guy that nba teams didnt want to draft

         McCoy not being drafted to me is because it was a deep draft and there is some red flag with him. The guy was a top 20 recruit that put up 16 10 and 1.8 blocks per game. He has NBA level talent, his numbers are really good for a freshmen. Maybe he’s a headcase, I don’t know. I just wouldn’t ding Ayton, when he also had a monster game.
