I havent seen much of him and the main thing i remember him for is.

    on the plus side
At 7’3 he is a pretty good shot blocker/shot alterer, has nice quickness, can finish when he recieves the ball inside. Has a jumper that he only seems to use when playing(and dominating) for the Chinese national teams he has been on

    downside
seems to have no confidence, is an awful freethrow shooter, weak, doesn’t have the best stamina

Does anyone that has seen more of California think he could be a second rounder or make the NBA after his senior year?

I remember him from the KU vs Cal game last year.  He barely played, but I remembered keeping my eye out for him because of his intriguing height.  He needs to add a lot of bulk or a lights out 3 pointer al a Wang Zhi Zhi to make it to the league.  He still is young, so he has time to make something for himself, but I don’t see him as an NBA prospect. I personally think his upside is that of Illiniois 7’2” center Mike Tisdale, a decent college player and viable starter, but maybe a summer league invite or overseas player, but certainly too thin an unathletic to get drafted.

hes not much of an nba prospect. He is 7-3 and very agile and gets up and down the court well and slides his feet well for a man his size. WIth cal losing all 5 starters he will have a big opportunity for minutes next year. But he’s not gonna be eligible for the fall semester due to playing for the chinese national team but thats probably a small price to pay for the experience he got from it. I see him getting maybe 18 minutes a game and averaging about 5ppg 5reb and 3blcks. Very weak and limited offensively.
