    I think the Mav’s should shop Roddy and get a young Center somehow. Barea showed a lot in the playoffs and they seem to be stacked at Point guard now. I think they should get another bigman that can play the 4 and 5 to back up Chandler and Dirk. They will need to draft a Point guard in the draft if they trade. I’m tempted to say Nolan Smith in the first but going second round wouldn’t be bad either for a player like Ben Hansbrough.

     If your not from Dallas and not a big Mavs fan dont say anything about there future because you dont know anything about them

     roddy was actually starting at the two guard

    so trading him for a center would be stupid cuz dallas has chandler and haywood and mahimi

    if they will give up Roddy B they will be very sorry about that! he showed great promise in the past and he could be a big part in the future long side Dirk and Chandler..

    The Mavs have to resign Chandler. Without him, Haywood is the starter and Mahimi is the first backup. That doesn’t sound like repeat material.

    If they just resign everyone they will be the favorites to repeat.
    If they want a young big man they can draft Jeremy Tyler.

    They will surely look to resign Chandler and draft BPA, they may add a veteran or two via FA/MLE etc. The big moves will start next year when Kidd and Terry expires and what they try to do from then on. The core may all well finish at around the same time so it might be trade a few of the expiring deals and try to rebuild around what is left.

    The key will probably be how long can Dirk continue being effective for and how long he plays on especially as he has his title now.
