    I think they should throw everything they have left to Jimmer Fredette. This guy needs another chance and Dallas is the perfect spot for him right now.

    He is kind of shooter Calderon is, and similar defensive weaknesses, so i think he will be a fit. Ellis is the primary ballhandler anyway so a 3pts specialist PG is the best option.

    He would cost pretty cheap also. Either him or somehow Kendall Marshall. But Mavs need a PG!

     They seem to still be high on Devin Harris. I think they’ll start off with Harris-Ellis backcourt. Still have Felton on the bench, but ya they can use a shooter.

     They did bring back Devin Harris, so the point guard spot is Harris, Mekel and Felton.

    Jimmer would give them lots of shooting, maybe a backup to Ellis.

    What Dallas might need more is a low-post scorer.  Not sure who, maybe they could sign-and-trade Blair to Washington for Gooden.

    Not sure if R Jefferson arriving means Marion won’t be around.

    Chandler, Dirk, Parsons, Ellis can win games, Wright and Crowder can defend too, but they need to add a bit more help.

    Jimmer would be better at a team with a great option in the paint, maybe Houston.
