marcusfizer21ParticipantMy condolence to the whole Blazers organization…Lucas family… As an NBA fan, I hate hearing bad news like this… Maurice Lucas will always be remembered not just as a great player for that champions 1977 Trail Blazers but as a devoted person who has been a great influence to the people around him…

RUDEBOY_ParticipantYeah, i can remember when he played with the Suns ,he and Magic got into an altercation..Magic got upset becuz he said Lucas was trying to hurt him..Lucas said no,i wanted to get him so mad at me and throw a punch so he could get thrown out of the game and our guards could look good..The next year Magic went to the Lakers front office and told them sign Lucas becuz i need a bodyguard on the court…
