Greivis Vazquez has been unbelievable lately. Could he be playing his way into the late 1st round?

grevis looked like the best pg. at the combine last year. I think he is a legitamate backup possibly a fill in solid PG in the nba. He will be a traveled vet, because of his production in the league!

Great game between those teams, from beginning to end.

Delaney and Allen were great for Vtech but Vasquez is just awesome. Those key players have good partners too.

Virginia Tech could be a great team next year, considering all their starters are Juniors and won’t probably go to Draft earlier, considering the really low odds for them to be drafted (even Delaney will wait). They just need a big men with size because they really lack this (they have a 6’11 guy out for the season but one more won’t hurt).

i heard the same thing last year. that vasque was one of the best pg out there when it came time for games and drills. also heard he didnt o well in the jumping speed tests but that goes to show you some guys are players even if they dont do that other stuff that dont matter as much, well

Actually last year Vasquez was killed in workouts last year. He was one of the slowest, least athletic PG in a very good, athletic crop. He has however been playing fantastic ball as the year has progressed. He’s producing at a ridiculous clip but I still wonder about how he’ll match up in the pro’s.

Iwatched all the drills last year and V was the best pg. in many drills, I dont know what player you thought was greivis! he will be a 1st rounder because of his dedication. or whatever that means.

Based on the numerous discussions he’d had with Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez over the past month, teammate Cliff Tucker figured he soon would be searching for a new roommate. Vasquez frequently returned home from NBA workouts and shared with Tucker the feedback he had received. Most of it was positive.

Greivis Vasquez – “He’s a Venezuelan kid who must decide on whether he’s staying in the draft or going back to school by Monday. He was very good though. He impressed us with his workout. He’s a tough kid, a good decision maker, and he’s got nice size. If he stays in, he’ll be a late first or early second round pick for sure.”

“Love his height, love his size. He’s got great basketball IQ. He knows how to run a pick and roll. Will need to get a little bit better on defense, but he’ll be interesting in the NBA. He’s a point guard. He’s got tremendous size for the
