OhCanada-ParticipantHuge game tonight for Markieff against the Raptors. He hit shots all over the court played with a ton of confidence and seemed comfortable. With Horny gone he finally got minutes 41 and played like a star. 30-points, 6-assists, 11-rebounds 1-steal, 2-blocks. I didn’t know he was such a good passer. I always thought he was the best Morris bro and he showed his potential tonight. With Knight out and Bledsoe out the Suns would be wise to let Morris run the show and settle into a new role as a high usage offensive player developing his potential and giving him some comfort within the organization.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI always felt his could be a very good player, like borderline All Star good…
I still think he has some room to grow and would benefit on another team IMO…

Jr. ROXASParticipantI think he’s just more comfortable with Hornacek out. They never seemed to et along.

KHAM83ParticipantMorris’s beef was more with management for trading his brother, as Hornecek had no power over personnel. Firing him doesn’t change anything, but I think he wants to try his best for Watson. It seems like players tend to be closer to the assistants simply out of dynamics. Also that Watson is black I think black players tend to want to help them succeed if they can. Im not saying he’s racist or doesn’t care for other races as coaches (I’m black btw), but it’s something I’ve felt for a while.

dremill24ParticipantDude has been blatantly digging it all year. Then as soon as the coach gets fired he’s goes out and blows up. Probly not a coincidence. Just another way to try to prove that nothing is his fault, yet ultimately proves that it is.

cargathusParticipantAs talented as he is I have to admit I highly dislike the guy (even given his intriguing skillset). I automatically have a strong disdain for anyone that bitches as much as he did, even to the point where he was hurting his team. It’s a team sport and a business. Get over it.

mamadouParticipantWhat a surprise knowing him, previously he shot the ball over 50%, 2 times in 32 games, 2 fucking times, he’s a PF right ?, even kobe did better…
He also never recorded a double doubles…
It’s not about what he can do, it’s about who he is, a fucking ..he has pretty high abilities, he can score 30 in a game, he can take 14 boards, make 7 assists, 5 steals or 3 blocks, he can make 3 threes or shoot 39% from deep for a month.
On the other hand, he can be or he is inconsistant, terrible on D, plus/minus, extremely TO/foul prone, 15 technicals, 2 ejections last season,..
Still think his best role in the nba is more elite 6th men than average starter with sub par efficiency, pretty weak rebounder/defender.
2 years ago, in the 48 wins suns, he averaged 14-6 in 26 mins, he never started a game, he was a weapon at that time…
Confidence my ass, he worked his way out for 3 months like no other, how many times he had 3 fouls in 8 mins or 3 TO in a rotation, instant -8, suns are 8-25 with him in the lineup….
2 weeks for a taker, i want him in the east, DC, indiana, detroit ? he would help them more than he helped the suns the last 2 seasons…
Suns are lacking 51 PPG between Knigh-Bledsoe and Warren, somebody had to make buckets huh, buckets he never made when needed, when the top 5 pick wasn’t the objective.
Son and brother of a bitch.

Mad MaxParticipantcan’t help but think Toronto is looking for another frontcourt player and that the Suns and Morris were showcasing his talents.

mamadouParticipantPatterson and their late 1st rounder ?, it’s done in a heartbeat.
Expirings and their late first also works.
I would trade him to the wizards for gooden, anderson and a 2nd rounder haha, just for the cap space and get rid of the bad influence on the young guns.
