ChicagoCaseyParticipantDraftExpress been making some outstanding vidoes of late in breaking down parts of players game. They did a video on Markelle Fultz "Pull Up Game",http://www.youtube.com/watch. This video is my main reason to why I believe he’s the best overall prospect in this class.
In this video it shows Fultz ability to make tons of NBA moves and how he’s one of the best pull up shooters in college basketball, 90th %tile. They showed his ability to use his body to create seperation, multiple ways that he uses his handle to create seperation, step backs into jumpshots, spin moves into jumpshots, and many other ways that he can get his jumper off.
I said earlier that this is the reason why I believe Fultz seperates from the pack. In today’s NBA you have to be able to do these types of things to be a great scorer. Ball, Fox, Jackson, and etc… cannot make these moves that Fultz is making. You can say that’s there weekness when you look at their games. This is hard to learn and a few players can actually make theses moves in the league, their all superstars. We don’t know if Ball can actually do any of this, he rarely takes these types of shots. I believe there’s a stat that states that he only taken a few in-between shots (from the rim to the three point line). Fox and Smith Jr. are bad shooters.

BleedGreen808ParticipantI really like how they paired his moves with NBA players doing the same things. It’s impressive that he already has a variety of moves to create space for his jumper. In my opinion Fultz looks like the #1 prospect so far.

SlickBouncePassParticipantI think Fultz is like a Harden type. Harden is crafty on offense and longer than Fultz. I wonder about Fultz being able to finish in the paint as well as Harden, but as far as a +++ offensive game with somewhat questionable defense, I like Fultz as a Harden TYPE player.
I see Josh Jackson as a Jimmy Butler type player. He can do all the things Jimmy Butler can do, and is probably a better passer. I strongly think his shot will come together in the NBA. The best thing about this kid is his competetive nature, so you know he will work hard at his game.
the other obvious one is Jonathan Isaac as a Durant/Ingram hybrid. Questionable build but oozing with potential, will he be able to get his shot off in the NBA etc.
I would frankly take any of the three, and if the Lakers fall to earth and we snag Tatum with 9, I’ll take Fultz and Tatum all day any day. You cannot ignore Tatum’s size.

BleedGreen808ParticipantHarden usually gets into the paint drawing fouls which I don’t see Fultz doing as much. Fultz should probably look at how players like Lillard and Curry get into the paint and finish at the rim.

ChicagoCaseyParticipantFultz be getting to the line. Could see him getting 7-10 FTA a game in the NBA. He can draw out contact, averaged 7 FTA a game so far this season

GronounoursParticipantI’m wondering: who has the most ridiculous name? Markelle Fultz or LiAngelo Ball? Man, that’s a tough one. Anyway, congratulations to the parents.
