Lotto StudParticipantNo one talks about him much but I have quick question. Will he be able to last and shake those Fred Jones type of stereotypes once he makes it? You all know what I’m talking about those 6’3”-6’4” pure athlete stigmas. Every so often those type of guys make their marks on the collegiate level and end up in the First Round, most in the 20-25 range but a few lottery bound.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantWill he be a lottery pick? No. Will he be drafted? Absolutely. This man has turned himself into a pretty complete player. He has the athleticism to fit in at the next level. When Smart was suspended, he played the PG for his team and i think that helped his stock. He isn’t a PG at the next level but showing he can run a team for a little bit helped.
I know its the same comparison that everyone uses but it seems to be right on the money, he sould be very similar to Avery Bradley.

HaleParticipantI think he’ll be a successful pro. He’s athletic enough to somewhat make-up for his lack of size and he’s developed a solid jumper. Look at his improvement over his career. His FG%, 3pt%, FT%, assists and points have gone up every year he’s been in college. He’s having his best season rebounding the ball, blocking shots and being efficient with the ball and he just seems like the hardworking type who will keep on improving in the NBA.

juves4783Participanti think a few things will help his draft status. the big one will be his measurements. the second one will be his shooting. i would say that his shooting has improved so much from his freshman year that it is probably not as concerning. i have markel as the 1st pick in the second round, but it’s partially because i have stauskas and jordan adams coming out and moving markel down on the draft board.

tbest23ParticipantAs a KU alum I will always love this kid for the fact he smashed two monster dunks in the grills of two Missery players when they were still in the B12. He got tossed but man those 2 dunks and the scenario he did it in were outstanding! He reminds me of Shannon Brown with a slightly better game at this point in their respective careers.

TRC1991ParticipantI’m a huge fan of Markel Brown. 6’3” combo guard with insane athleticism. I thin he can develop into a Khalid Reeves / Robert Pack type player. Solid defender off the bench, can guard both spots, beast in transition.

MopgrassParticipantIn most people’s draft SG’s are way down the list. Some of them will jump up (just statistically speaking it has to happen). I think Markel Brown will be one of the first SG’s taken. I think he’ll just miss the lottery.
