McDunkinFormer Georgia Tech point guard Mark Price is interested in becoming Georgia Tech’s next basketball coach.
Price, a Yellow Jackets legend, led the team to its first ACC championship and regular-season title as a junior in 1985. His jersey was retired by the school.
Price has coaching experience. He served as an assistant under Bobby Cremins, whom he played for, in 1999-2000.

JNixonParticipantInteresting. Hopefully he can do something with the talent he gets unlike Coach Hewitt. Tech has some talent in Iman Shumpert and Glen Rice Jr returning, as well as a good shooter and developing scorer in Brian Oliver getting back from injury. GA is a fertile recruiting area too, so he’ll have the short and long term resources to be a good coach.
