drk3351ParticipantHey guys, I evaluated Hezonja’s SL performance for the Magic in a breakdown video. I liked what I saw, let me know your opinion on his play, and thanks for watching.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantHas zero court vision. But on the other hand is way more athletic than I thought.

IndianaBasketballParticipantGreat job! Do you plan on doing one of these for Myles Turner and possibly Joe Young?

drk3351ParticipantUnfortunetely I won’t have time for too many others. Right now I’m aiming to do evaluations for 3 more players. Mudiay, Porzingis, and Russell.

high floorParticipantGood analysis and well thought out. I agree that his on-ball and team defense need work, but luckilly for himself and his team Mario has a coach with a legit defensive pedigree.
I hope he gets minutes this year. I’ve never seen a Euro as brash or publicly confident that’s only 19/20 years old. Could be a stud

Bed HeadParticipantOh and, high floor, a 17-year-old Darko once interrupted an interviewer to compare himself to Kevin Garnett "with better range", so … however, I agree Hezonja’s self-confidence could prove a major plus.
To me, Mario is the (extremely) early favorite for ROY, provided he and Skiles can coexist. Particularly since Orlando should improve (at least slightly) win-wise. Okafor and Mudiay may put up bigger numbers, but on ghastly teams. While Winslow’s positive impact in Miami likely won’t be reflected statistically, imo.

FearTheStacheParticipantI’m not sure that being on a "ghastly team" really has much of an effect on the ROY race. Last year’s ROY was Wiggins, whose team had the league’s worst record. Before that, it was MCW, whose team also had the league’s worst record. Lillard was on a good team the year before that, but then Kyrie was ROY on a terrible Cavs team, and Blake Griffin was ROY on a terrible Clippers team. It looks to me that you are completely wrong, and that, if anything, ROY tends to favor big numbers on bad teams.

Bed HeadParticipantMy point was … if the numbers are reasonably close, team record could be the tie-breaker.

Rip255I think he’s going to take his fare share of punishment for being so cocky. I look forward to it cos I think he can handle it.
