No one ever posts anything or talks about Marcus Morris. Yet somehow, everyone has him getting drafted in the lottery, if not the top ten. There is absolutely no way that when you take a look at his game that he is anywhere near one of the top 15 prospects in this draft. He’ll never start in the league. He’s very good at a lot of things, but doesn’t excel in anything. If you’re gonna get drafted in the lottery, shouldn’t people be talking about you? Shouldn’t you have at least the potential to be an all star one day? If Marcus Morris goes in the lottery, he’s got bust written all over him. There is no way in HELL that Michael Jordan takes this guy at #9. I just don’t see it.

MJ Brown. I disagree with you completely. In a draft like this, I feel the question should be how is Marcus not conisidered a 10-20 pick? Im just curious to hear what you think Marcus brings to the NBA, because I feel like if you watched him at Kansas and not just from his freshman year highlights on this website you would understand what kind of player he is. Marcus, in terms of offensive talent, is one of the best in the draft. The only thing seperating him from being more highly considered a top 10 pick instead of being drafted late lottery is his size, only average NBA athleticism, and the fact that he will struggle guarding bigger 4’s and smaller, quicker 3’s.

Marcus will be able to stretch defenses from day one, hit difficult shots and bring a spark for his team off the bench. That is only year one. He can be a very effective scorer and if on the right team should be able to work his way into a starter in the NBA. If thats not good enough for a 9-20 pick in a horrible draft, then your team can go ahead and draft for potential and pick a player who will never crack the rotation. As a Bobcats fan, I wouldn’t mind at all if we got Marcus at 9, and I feel like he will be one of the players from this draft that gets consistent minutes from day one till he retires. And in a draft like this, that is more than enough value for the pick your drafting from

Yeah Marcus is one of the few players in this draft that can be a bully in the post especially if he has a 3 guarding him.  He has an in between game which is becoming a lost art in the nba for the new players coming in. Hopefully his length wont be an issue

Marcus was the best player on a team that reached the elite eight yet no one seems to want to credit him for being the player he is. Yes his length my hinder him some from being an elite defender tell me how many truely elite defenders there are in the NBA post game. He had the best big man coach in the country at Kansas in Danny Manning and will be a soild 3/4 in the leauge for years to come. Zach Randolph has zero hops and is a average defender at best yet he is truely effective. So as long as you can score in this leauge you will always have a spot and marcus can score in more ways then anyone at his position in this draft. He most deffinetly deserves to be a lottery pick and will be as much and help any team that takes him.
