Kid has had a great senior season for Georgia Tech. Has gotten better every year. Went off for like 30 last night and has been killin it lately. Wonder what people think about him getting a chance in the league. He is short for a sf and that would be his position but he is built really well, really thick/cut. Needs to improve the jumper hes more of a slasher but he has been shooting it better this year. I think he should get a look somewhere in the 2nd round and could surprise. Hes been carrying GT all year and they have been in or winning basically all of there ACC games they have played this year only to blow them in the final couple minutes bc they have the worst coach in the conference. Good rebounder, good passer, good handle. He has even been playing point guard some bc the other point guards are terrible. There best line up imo is when he moves over to point. They ask him to do a ton and hes had a great senior year. Happy for him and also dissapointed for him bc his coach sucks and GT actually has a good team this year they just find new ways every game to blow it. But, he really carrys the team but at the end of the day he needs some help. People who have seen him play what do you think?

Hes averaging 16.3 ppg and shooting 46%

I’ve always liked MGH.  I live in Atlanta and I’ve gotten to see him play quite a bit over the last few years.

I was at the Duke game the other night and there were stretches where no one on the floor could guard him.

You are right that his jump shot needs to improve at the next level and I’m not convinced he should be a three.  I think he could thrive at the two guard spot off a team’s bench.  He’s built like an NBA player, so phyically, he can do it.

He’s just really got a great basketball IQ and if he were playing for any school that got any love or national attention then he’d be a higher thought of prospect.  I don’t know if Tech wins a single game without him this year and I’m not sure how many they would have won last year.

He’s definitely a player and a guy that will play professionally at some point.

Techs actually alot better this year, but MGH is deffinetly the best player. The coach is holding them back. He should of been fired a couple years ago but they cant afford to bc they are still paying Paul Hewitt. I just graduated from Tech in December so ive basically seen every game he has played the last 4 years and he has gotten better every year. He just needs to keep working on that jumper, but hes been doing his thing this year. I dont know why he isnt on any mocks ive seen in the second round. But i too think he has a good chance to make someones roster. Good defender too. His body might be the most impressive thing about him the guy is a tank.

MGH is also one of my favorite players in the ACC. He has improved every year despite inconsistent plays by his team and he’s been a heady player and leader for this program. However, I’m not sold on him as a NBA player.  For a NBA prospect, there’s nothing that he is above average at. He’s a solid shooter, slasher, rebounder, defender, and athlete, but I’m not sure what role he would play on an NBA team.  I love his play and he’s also high IQ player but I don’t see him getting drafted. He can definitely be a professional basketball player and make a lot money, but it may have to be overseas.  I’ll be following and rooting for him to make his way onto a NBA roster, as well as Malcolm Brogdon, another of my favorite ACC players who I’m not sure fits the NBA.

Marcus Georges Hunt might be the most versatile player in college basketball. There isn’t one thing on the basketball court that he can’t do. In fact, recently MGH has been running point for the team. Not only has the offense run more fluidly due to his emergence at the position, but the team has won 4 of their last 5 and 3 in a row in conference (first time for GTech since ’08).

Georges Hunt is the picture perfect definitionof "Jack of all trades". Unfortunately, the "Master of none" part of the saying may apply to him as well. MGH has decent ability to get to the cup, hes a solid finisher, he can make the open 3 at the college level hes shooting 82% from the line and as mentioned earlier, hes playing point now and is involved some way or another in virtually all of the teams points.

MGH has a future In the NBA. Even though he lacks next level quickness and height, his abilty to do almost eeverything on the court will open eyes.

Before his point guard play the paat couple weeks he reminded me of Lance Stephenson in so many ways. Imagine Stephenson without the headcaas issues being a complete team player.
