As it is the Pistons look like an up and coming team. Now imagine how dangerous they would look if they could steal someone like Selden or Young in the draft. A lineup of:

    PG- MCW
    SG- Turner
    SF- Thad Young
    PF- Hawes
    C- Nerlens Noel

    Bench:
    Selden/Young
    Tony Wroten
    Morris
    Lavoy Allen
    Moultrie

Not a scary team, but I think this could be a quicker rebuild then most thought. I don’t think Thad Young would fit into their future plans, so trading him could get them an asset in return. They also need to fill out some weaknesses like replacing Hawes and filling out the bench, but I could see them being a playoff contender sooner than later

They have had a nice three games, but the reality is the MCW and Turner will not be able to maintain this level…

A great start for MCW. I was impressed by his ability to distribute without turning the ball over in the pre-season and his work on his 3 point shot, but his offensive outbursts have been a bit of surprise for me. Still, he’s always had this type of potential and his first three games have been excellent, and against good competition too.

The guy they’ve nicknamed ”The Hyphen”, has made alot of people take notice including Magic Johnson who said MCW is his choice for Rookie of the Year….He’s looking like a young Jason Kidd…There were times last season when MCW played like a top 3 pick and other nights when he constantly turned the ball over and shot the ball poorly…

I Love the sign someone held up after they beat Chicago said, ”3-0 That’s NO BULL”!!

I doubt if they can keep up that pace for the entire season..But watching them the past 3 games have been fun….

That free flowing playground style surprised the Bulls,Heat and Wizards..But it will get tested 2morrow, when they play another uptempo team in the Warriors……..We might be treated to a record setting game with the score being something like 148-153…..

This dream start for MCW and the sixers will have to eventually come to an end when the leagues scouting reports catch up.

    Examples

Brandon Jennings scored 55 as a rookie
Charlie Villanueva scored 48 as a rookie
Remember the hype on Tyreke Evans as a 20-5-5 rookie ?
    Now who remembers Linsanity ?

The league scouting reports will catch him up eventually, but its been fun while it lasted…..

Reality check for MCW and the sixers today as they got thumped by the Warriors.

mcw went 4/17 from the field with 4 assists and 6 TO’s

He still had 18 points on 17 FGAs, which is meh, and still racked up 6 boards as well. Scoring isn’t his strength to begin with. It was a rough game for everyone on the 76ers. They were just very sloppy.

Regardless, great start to the young man’s career.

I predicted they would lose to the Warriors..A team that also loves to get out and run..The 76’ers could only run the 5 K…But Warriors are like the Kenyans, they can run 4ever……
