     Malik Newman has a web series going on right now called "Beyond the game," It highlights his mindset and work ethic and things he does on the daily basis to be the Number 1 player in the class of 2015. The kid is very mature and really looks at basketball as a lifestyle instead of a game. I think if you have the time to check it out it’s cool to watch. A few episodes have been released

    As a player/prospect who would you guys compare to him?

    I think he is a lot similar to Bradley Beal. Watched him play for Team USA U16 team last summer and was definitely impressed by him more than anybody else on the team. He’ll definitely be a high draft pick.

    First off, I think this kid is destined to be a star one day in the NBA. As far as comparisons, Reggie Rankin from ESPN compared him to Damian Lillard/Monta Ellis.

       Really do you think he’s that good? I not trying to be sacrastic or anything, I just know he’s not a traditional pass first point guard more of a scorer. Rumors hear that kentucky is the early, how do you think his progression will go?

     I don’t really see Bradley Beal, I think his ball handling skills are much better.

    He’s an athletic scoring guard. That’s what I see.
