Just finished watching the UK vs Ole Miss game and Malik Monk is just special he’s so quick and just knows how to score. He’s quickly becoming my favorite guard in the class. Also on another note anyone else been impressed by Dennis Smith lately? He’s been insane his last few game knocking down the 3 ball and even had a 16 assists the other day. He also has that next level hoops where he can just go up and dunk on a man off the dribble like Westbrook. I love this draft class!!!

Can Malik Monk play the PG position for the Sixers? If Ben Simmons is the playmaker, Monk could work as a shooter-shot creator

Monk doesn’t have the handle to be a PG.

he’s not a Pg but after he tightens his handle I’m sure he could play some point guard..he reminds me of Montae Ellis with less ability to create for himself but much better at everything else

Ellis in his prime played nothing like Monk. Monta eould break people down in isolation eith advanced dribble moves to the rim and live off of the free throw line. Most of Monks baskets are assisted he is playing so smooth running through screens and hitting threes like uncontested layups. When he was at 23-points I didnt even know it all happened so fast and natural. Nothing was forced.

He doesnt need to handle the rock in Philly. His handles are good enough to take the ball across half court and set the offence through Simmons. On the defensive end he has the lateral quicknesd to gaurd PG’s. Although if he is drafted it will probally be to play at SG as Philly needs to add ayers at both gaurd positions not just PG and it looks as though thry should be able to add s good PG with the Lakers pick.

Thank you, that is exactly my point, sure the draft is very deep with PGs, but Monk for Philly could be very interesting. If Philly is unlucky with the lottery and the Lakers pick ends up around the 10th pick, they might look at, for example, a Monk-Bacon combo.

Or a Monk-Ferguson/Anunoby combo, whichever SG you like best. The point is, it would give the Sixers shooters and defenders with size at each guard position. Simmons will have Embiid, Monk and a SG to pass the ball to.

He reminds me of a bigger Lou Williams.
