I’m interested to see how he does and if he can continue this little stretch of ucla guys playing better in the NBA then college, but I’m not expecting much from him. Very solid all around player and can defend at the NBA level but nothing special about his game. Not nearly the athlete of Westbrook and unlike jrue who I knew would excel with the ball in his hands and more freedom, I don’t feel the same way about lee. But best of luck of to him.

I like his game and although I feel like he is a little limited on the offensive end, I feel like he could be a great defender if he puts his energy into it. With so many quick and athletic gaurds right now the league needs more defensive minded PGs.

He seems really laid back from his interview like I don’t think the guy display a killer instinct where he wants the ball when the game is on the line. He seems more content with just letting others control the game. His stats don’t speak to his talent, but he has a lot of work to do in order to improve.

He has explsoive quickness and the ability to be a great defender against the quick guards in the NBA. He also has the length to defend SG’s. I think that he’s pretty raw as a prospect and he’s not really a PG or a good shooter, but he will be a slashing threat and defender. I feel he’s underrated as a prospect, and I think he could develop into a very good backup combo guard for a team, especially if he improves his shot. I like his speed and quickness though.

i see him a lot like the Toronto Raptors’s formar player Alvin Williams, big PG who play aggressive and quality defensive player.

I think Alvin Williams is a good comparison. Lee could be a solid combo gaurd and fill in as a solid do the little things type of guy who won’t make mistakes similar to how luc Richard mbah a moute has done in the pros.

Malcolm lee will be a solid nba player. Hes quick can penetrate to the rim very athletic . Poyential lockdown defender.

Alvn Williams is not a good comparison. Skills wise yes it is a great one, but not as far as intangibles goes. Williams was a team leader, and great guy to have as part of your organization. Also he made very smart basketball plays and managed games. It is hard for a PG to know when to pass it to the 1st option, to whoever is hot, downlow in the post, or expose other weakness’s on the floor. Im not sure Lee is on that level as a decision maker and that is what has given Alvin such high praise even to this day as a PG.

While it’s true Alvin Williams had leadership intangibles that we don’t know if lee will ever have, it took Alvin years in the NBA to develop that and he was a fringe contributor for many seasons never putting up double digits until he found his niche and matured in Toronto. Lee can potentially do that as well and it should be noted he never tried to force things always willing to play within the system at ucla which shows his mental approach to being a team player. But other then that, there are just too many similarities in thier games to write off the comparison being valid. Size skills defense unselfishness are all pretty spot on.
