Crossova21ParticipantWith Rolle signed the Pacers now have 16 players with a guaranteed contract which means either someone is getting cut or another trade is coming. Local newspapers suggested that they may look to trade Ford and D. Jones for another player. Any takers?
I was thinking maybe a Ford/Jones for J. Crawford trade would work for both teams.

JNixonParticipantHe has some nice athleticism and a decent spot-up mid-range game. He’s a developmental player, but he’s not ever going to be more than a back-end rotation player. At least not ideally.

dmo21ParticipantIf they were/are gonna make a trade it would probably be to get a starting caliber power forward, for atleast this year. So here are some maybe ideas, and it has to be atleast a 2 for 1 trade so the roster spots are at 15.
- Ford and McRoberts for Diaw. Indiana gets a pf/sf that can fit in good pretty much every where with his vast abilities. Charlotte gets an improvement at pg?(maybe). Trading Diaw also opens up room Tyrus, who they just signed and is the future, and McRoberts can back him up.
- Dunleavy and Rush for Jamison. Indiana gets a very good pf, who is kinda soft, but next to Hibbert and Granger that doesn’t really matter to much. He would probably push them to a playoff team. Cleveland dumps money for an expiring contract in Dunleavy and a young player who could turn out to still be pretty good in Rush. They also add depth to their wings, which weren’t looking very strong.

durantula83ParticipantI never thought they would start the season with Ford still on the team. I wonder what they will do with Stephenson, any word on that? Is the ban still in effect?

Counting StarsParticipantWith the potential he’s shown, I think signing Rolle is a good move. I think they should absolutely trade Ford. His welcome in Indy was worn out a while back. I’m not sure if there is a similar situation with Jones, but if not, I think he’s worth holding on to. He is a good defender and is the type of player a lot of teams are looking for. Plus, he comes fairly cheap for what he brings.

xavier328ParticipantNice signing by the Pacers Rolle kind of reminds me of Javale McGee.. he can be that high energy guy off the bench.
