I am sure the story has already broke on the site, but I just wanted to know what everyone’s opinion was on this.  Magic has been trying to buy a football team for a few years and it just hasn’t panned out yet.  Do you think he may have decided to bail on that project and move towards buying a baseball team? 

Do you think if the oppertunity arose, would Magic pursue an NFL team over an MLB team, or what?  This is all kind of confusing for me.  I know he tried to buy the Jacksonville Jaguars and move them to L.A., but the current owner wanted to see them stay in Jacksonville.  So, if he wants to bring a football team to L.A., why is he pursuing an MLB team already in L.A.?

Just seems a little strange to me.  Opinions?
