unaznizedParticipantwell i heard the hawks are re-signing mike bibby as well. if that’s the case, I think re-signing Marvin Williams wouldn’t make sense because of the acquisition of Jamal Crawford. with bibby, the lineup could look like:
PG: Bibby
SG: Crawford
SF: Johnson
PF: Smith
C: HorfordJeff Teague would be the 6th man for the Hawks, assuming they don’t resign Flip Murray. Mo Evans would be the backup swingman. what the Hawks really need are bigs, probably re-signing Zaza and picking up someone like Milsap or Gooden via free agency. Re-signing Marvin just doesn’t make sense to me because they picked up Crawford. but if Bibby doesn’t re-sign like the rumors I’ve heard, Marvin returning wouldn’t be too bad. but I think Bibby is the Hawks’ main priority, I just can’t see Teague or Murray running the show for this team.
I’m not really a Hawks fan, this is just my standpoint from a basketball perspective. what do you think?

sheltwon3ParticipantThe more talent the better plus they can sign him on the cheap unless Portland wants him.

NJnetskiddParticipantI’d think there would be several teams interested, he is long, athletic, and has the versatility to guard multiple positions. If you look at his stats his numbers have improved across the board each year and he is still only 23. He probably will never be the superstar he was projected to be, but he can be a very valuable piece in a championship puzzle. IMO Minnesota, NJ and Portland would have the most interest. Portland mainly because they missed out on Hedo and he fits NJ/Minnesota youth movement.

sheltwon3ParticipantPortland is the only person that I think has a position and money to give him but then again Atlanta can make any offer and Portland make sign someone before then. Atlanta also has Childress contract that they will use in a sign and trade. ATL trying to make some noise.

birdman113hyea portland would probably like him he could back up Aldridge, but hes more of a small forward which would create a big log jam at small forward.
