they will have a weak post bench, if they would have gotten Klieza he would have have cleared that problem.

I understand what you are saying, I just think you worded it bad. The Raptors don’t really get “worse” because they never had Kleiza so it’s not like they are losing their own player, they just missed out on signing him. But I agree that he would have helped out their bench. They could have used another shooter to spread the floor with Kapono gone.

I hate it when the NBA loses talented players to European leagues

This really hurts the Denver Nuggets. When J.R. Smith struggled in the playoffs, Linas was able to more than pick up the slack. Linas quietly had three 40 point games in the past two seasons on a team featuring Carmelo and Iverson. Linas is a starter in this league and it’s ashmed a team didn’t offer him what he is reall valued at.

Dhamp…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

I think he was definitely worth the full MLE for a team in the NBA. I’m suprised no one stepped up and offered him that. It’s kinda a sign of the times in the nba that teams are’nt willing to throw money around quite so quickly.

llperez22: especially with the economic crisis that the world is suffering right now… They have to be smart in spending wisely….

Kleiza is a solid guard-forward, I am just disapointed that teams were not taking a keen look at this guy. This guy has had some 40 point games which is proof that he can light it up. Olympiakos is in for another EuroLeague Dynasty acquiring another talent.
