festar35ParticipantThere are a few guys from the 2010 draft class that could be looking at moving on from their franchises if they don’t get the results they want, so who do you think will likely leave out of Wall, Hayward and George?

SubZeroParticipantI think Wall has been the most publicly unhappy. I don’t know if he’ll ask for a trade or wait til his contract runs out, but I could see him dipping out at some point. They haven’t done much to help him and Beal keeps getting hurt. Plus, I don’t know how real all that stuff is with him and Beal, but it could definitely contribute to his unhappiness. I’d really like to see him on a contender but I just don’t know what good team needs a PG. Atlanta has the worst of all the good teams but they’re invested in Schroder so I’m not sure where he’d go.
I don’t know. He’s just my favorite player so I really want to see him do more damage in the playoffs like he did in 2014 because he’s had such little respect when talking about the great PGs in the league recently

binetParticipantWall is probably going. I think Boston might target him depending on the asking price, he surely fits better than the nets pick who should also be a PG with the draft class being what it is. It’s not sure what their team would look like with him though since I don’t think they will bench Thomas for him.
Young teams looking for the final piece like Minnesota or Milwaukee could also make a move offering their draft pick +. LaVine, Dunn + Minnesota’s pick is probably close to the asking price, so it’s a matter of whether they are willing to pull the trigger on a move like that or not…
Behind those 3 teams, unlikely destinations like Detroit or Philly could make a move. Detroit if asking price is lower than what I expect and they can manage a package that does not involve Johnson or Drummond. And Philadelphia if they think (what in my book would be a mistake) that their best pick + Jah or Nerlens for Wall is a good move.

220ParticipantI’d say Gordon Hayward leaves first. He tried to leave as a restricted free agent. He has yet to make the playoffs and his team is at best a fringe playoff team again. I’d be surprised if he resigns when his contract is up.

HitsterParticipantHayward has a player option next summer, which we assume he’ll opt out of and be looking for a deal around $25 million year judging by what players of a similar level got last summer. If he stays with Utah then it could really be a mega deal and is something the Jazz need to consider carefully.
John Wall has another two guaranteed years on his deal after this season and is on a very cap friendly deal so would have very high trade value. If he does want out possibly and with the Wizards struggling, then it could be a great time to cash in on him and get good assets to go with a likely high pick of their own next summer. The Wizards then rebuild around Beal, Porter and whoever they can draft.
Philly have a lot of assets and might have interest in Wall, Boston again are asset heavy but have a deep backcourt, likewise Phoenix. But if a guy like Wall came into play a lot of teams would take interest. A team like Dallas jumps out at me.

MatosParticipantWall and PG deserved better than this. They’ve been surrounded with either mediocre or injury-prone talent. Time for those guys to be set free. Both of their teams need a re-build anyway. They should be sent for some young assets and not have their prime years rotted on playoff bubble teams at best.

natevalParticipantCeltics will wait until the offseason and sign Hayward as a FA. Book it!

ZachAttackParticipantI still have your last bookmark that the Celtics would make a blockbuster trade before the start of the season…

natevalParticipantSorry I was off I thought they would trade for Hayward last offseason…….Looks like Boston will get him now in the upcoming offseason and wont have to give up any assets.
Nothing personal ZackAttack it just business
