who’s the better prospect between the two?
You’re in the war room fighting to select one of these guys, what’s your take on who you should select? Why is one prospect better than the other?

Imo McNeeley is a very slightly better player than Will Riley and it’s probably because he had to be the man at UConn. Better prospect overall though I’m likely taking Will Riley. Both can dribble/pass/shoot and both can work on their defense. McNeeley is a little more seasoned with his skills, but Will Riley is right there and on a better trajectory. And if he fills out his body a little more over time like say Trevor Ariza did, you have a good prospect. I had a convo the other day with someone that compared Will Riley to Zaccharie Risacher… that’s actually plausible if he fills out his body a little.

It is a close one to call but I’ve always been a fan of Liam’s so I’d take him if it was a straight call. Also he has 30lbs more bulk so maybe won’t get pushed around as much in the NBA. Both guys have lovely jump shots so a lot could depend what sort of team takes them.

This ones tough for me but if I had to pick it would be Will Rikey. I watched a Uconn game this year where in the final minutes of the game the opposing team targetted McNeeley three possessions in a row and they lost the game. He wasnt6 able to get a stop and it left a bad impression on McNeeley overall. But it doesnt really matter because he tested well at the combine for agillity and he’s a 6’8 shooter and will find a role in the NBA.

Riley has some very advanced scoring skill. His bag has alot of counters and he is able to knockdown difficult contested shots. I think he is a bit underrated I tend to sleep on him as well.
