with all of those allstar events coming it’s time to talk about  HS stars.. is it me or this years class has even bigger lack of stars than back in ’10 (actually i disagree that class was pretty good) beside Shabazz and now Noel who actually both also still isn’t a sure fire nba future star i don’t see almost any one and dones..

WHat is your thoughts guys on this class? Can Isaiah start to show his stars potential, or maybe guy like Rodney Purvis former top5 junior will climp rankings and we will remember how we compared him to DWade?

     What about Steven Adams?

I don’t understand why oel is ranked above him, I mean the guy is super athletic, already strong as a bull and is 7ft1. What is it the guy lacks that doesn’t make him an elite prospect?

This class is a big man class. So there will definitely be some stars down the line. The real heavy hitter class is 2013 they are comparing it to 2007 class.

I really like Grant Jerret who is going to Arizona.  He has a great feel for the game and is extremely skilled.  Can shoot the ball well (out to the 3 point line).  He seems like he has good timing on defense and has good size and length which should help him block some shots.  His footwork is advanced for his age as well.  I expect him to be starting next year and starting ahead of Brandon Ashley and Kaleb Tarczewski, who are both rated higher than him according to Rivals.com.

Is it just me or is Arizona going to be super-scary next year?

Nick Johnson and Josiah Turner are most probably staying, Gabe York joins them in the back court and then Brandon Ashley, Grant Jarett and Kaleb Tarczewski join Solomon Hill to form a deep and dominant frontcourt

What do you guys think of Kentucky’s class. As of now if everyone declares they will be left with 8 guys and a pretty weak looking roster for Kentucky’s standards. I know they are in talks with Noel, Shabazz, Bennett, Pollard, and Parker but none of them are sure things to commit. Only Shabazz or Noel would make Kentucky a contender next year IMO.

Here’s the Projected roster as of now with scholarship guys only

    PG Ryan Harrow

    SG Archie Goodwin

    SF Alex Poythress

    PF Kyle Wiltjer

    C Willie Cauley

    B1 Twany Beckham

    B2 Jon Hood

    B3 Jarrod Polson

@anton123 Agreed. Adams has a chance to become an elite center. He’s definitely got the size and athleticism. He’s only been in America for a few weeks so he’s still learning the system there but he’s already making impact with the limited amont of games he’s played in.

I think Nerlens Noel would be foolish if he didn’t go to Kentucky. After seeing how Calipari utilized Anthony Davis this year, it would be very smart for Noel to go there and take over his spot. He is another ultra athletic/long shotblocking phenom. And if you look at the roster, they NEED a center. I would be very suprised if Noel ends up going elsewhere. Muhammad may be the better prospect, but Kentucky needs Noel ten times more then Shabazz.
